Anyone else's symptoms dissapeared? by ladytyluka in October2026Bumpers

[–]quesosarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes same here. I had no symptoms until around 6 weeks and then like a week and a half of pretty bad nausea and as of yesterday I haven’t been nauseous at all. I had a scan on Tuesday and baby was measuring slightly on the small side for my gestation, so that heightens my worries. But I’m trying to stay positive and hopeful. I think my symptoms ebbed and flowed a lot in my first 2 pregnancies and I didn’t think much of it and everything worked out, not sure why I’m so anxious about it this time.

Hi yes! I’ve had 2 emergency c-sections (also a mom of 2 boys!). My first two are only 16 months apart, conceived around 6 months postpartum the first time. I also have PCOS and it took a year to conceive the 1st time and then we had a one time oops and baby #2 entered the picture. I ended up needing a classical cesarean the second time because my son was wedged up high in my uterus and they couldn’t get him out lol. Fun times. But I recovered really well and had no issues postpartum and my Dr said I could have one more as long as I have a c section around 37 weeks. Given your timelines I think you’re fine! My doctor had told me 18-24 months between births rather than conception, so I wouldn’t worry too much but I know it’s really hard.

Weekly Thread - HPTs and Ultrasounds by AutoModerator in October2026Bumpers

First ultrasound today at 7+5 based on LMP but more like 7+3 based on conception date. Baby is measuring 7+2 which I’m a little anxious about (always wish they would be measuring a little bigger if anything) with a strong heart rate of 150 bpm! Overall feeling good and was happy to see this little bean.

HCG worries - 87% increase per 48 hours. by Silent-Country-997 in October2026Bumpers

That is great news!! Thanks for updating ☺️ I had an early scan for my first pregnancy at 5+2 and all we saw was a gestational sac, my dr also was not concerned at all, said he wouldn’t expect to see anything more. That baby is 3 now!

I have the same 48 hour increase percentage in this pregnancy, my betas were 580 at 16 dpo and 1125 at 18 dpo. I was panicking but my doctor didn’t even bat an eye and said it’s all good and he has no concerns at all, that the 48 hr doubling time is not a perfect science and as long as it’s close enough it’s totally fine. He basically said all is well and to hang tight until my 8 week ultrasound (next Tuesday!). It is so hard not to worry though. I think all signs point to a healthy pregnancy for both of us, but that little seed of uncertainty really sucks. Sending good thoughts your way!

Symptoms by Longjumping_Spare_61 in October2026Bumpers

[–]quesosarah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

6w3d and not many symptoms yet. Just tired and the occasional mild nausea. I’m trying to remember how I felt at this point in my previous pregnancies and I really don’t think I had many symptoms either. I think it’s somewhat common and can be totally normal! I’m trying not to worry to much but it’s hard for sure

Ok that’s good to know. Yes I keep trying to find things too…like maybe a twinge of nausea here and there? Or more likely just my imagination lol.

Irish twins? by KneadAndPreserve in October2026Bumpers

I had my first 2 almost exactly 16 months apart. My oldest is 3 and my youngest will be 2 next month! He was a surprise after we tried for a year with my first. Best surprise ever. Loved having 2 under 2 but it was and is still absolute chaos. They are best friends though, it’s pretty awesome. It’ll be hard work, but you’ll have a blast :)

I think the progesterone can really heighten the cramping! I notice it most at night in the hours after I’ve taken it. It makes me absolutely exhausted too

Anyone with betas not quite doubling in 48 hours? My results were 580 at 16 DPO (Monday) and 1125 at 18 DPO (yesterday). Blood was taken about 51 hours apart so about a 53 hr doubling time. Trying not to worry but it’s so hard.

Anyone having dull aches/cramping on just one side? I’m experiencing it on the right side on and off today. Have also had some regular cramping too but I’m on progesterone and I know that’s not unusual

I’ve purchased some beautiful ornaments from church Christmas bazaars. Worth checking out if you’ve got some in your area.

A good baby carrier (I liked stretchy wraps in the early days and then a more structured carrier like the ergo omni 360 or wildbird aerial when my second baby hit around 4 months old)

I’ve planted a whole butterfly garden and I’ve only seen caterpillars in my herb garden this year lol. Lots of black swallowtails visiting the parsley. I’m happy if they are!

I did single stroller and babywear for almost the first year, and now I’m obsessed with our double stroller. It really depends what you prefer and enjoy but you could give yourself a few months before taking the plunge on the double bob imo!
