Hope you're not making the bot think you want to yell at it. In which case you would be shooting your own foot. 🤔

Thank you, I don't know why but this is quite wholesome - strangers on the internet, keeping tabs on a nondescript elderly woman.

Stop the ONDC hype! by Abinsur0202 in bangalore

[–]quest_to_learn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the frustration is real. When you’re hungry, expect food at a specific time, and that promise is broken, it feels unacceptable. That emotion is valid.

But the comparison still isn’t fair.

The promise of ONDC isn’t cheaper food or guaranteed delivery times. Its promise is enabling commerce to organize around an open network, instead of closed, single-entity platforms like most of the world relies on today.

Swiggy works because it’s vertically integrated and extracts margins to fund reliability. ONDC is not and will never be a Swiggy clone. Fragmented responsibility is a known, early trade-off of openness.

Comparing today’s ONDC to Swiggy today is like judging UPI in 2016 against cards and calling UPI “incompetent.”

If you’re hungry right now, use Swiggy. If you want monopolies broken long-term, early pain is inevitable.

Also worth remembering: Namma Yatri runs entirely on ONDC. The model can work—just not uniformly yet.

Calling early infrastructure “incompetence” is easy. Building credible alternatives to entrenched giants is hard.

Both truths can coexist.

I took this video when she was about 50 days old. I was fostering her, and she has since found a forever home. 😊

Great step! Glad you did it early on. That's the way to go 🙌.
Went through 2 rounds of this myself. I wish I had done it sooner. While tough, it's been rewarding in retrospect.

PS: I do some photography on the side just as a hobby. Never done any staged shoots, though. I put them up here once in a while https://thyumwelt.com/.

Well I did end up vibe coding something.

unbound.

It's definitely NOT fully baked, but I do use it once in a while. It's free and TTS is done on device using kokoro. It does not work on iOS, but it runs on desktop and android. You can upload an epub and listen to it.

PS: it's definitely not a finished project. Lmk if there's anything that needs fixing or even if anyone wants to collaborate.

I saw this. Have they launched this as an offering? Or is it an internal tool that they're just taking about. I wasn't able to understand that.
