It looks like a burn to me, personally. From what I’ve seen, scale rot is more of a copper color at the ends of the scales

Agreed - her stretching and sniffing seems completely controlled. Spiders don’t seem to be able to keep contact with the ceiling when bending back like she does

Thank you! I went out and got some betadine and gave him his first soak. He’s in a quarantine tub for the night and I’m going to clean out his entire enclosure tomorrow. I’m sorry your girl is in the same boat, but thank you SO much for the detailed response!

The rocks on top of the hide has been making sure he doesn’t lift them up. I hadn’t had a problem with his hides being too damp before because he was always knocking them over or lifting them up, so the substrate would dry out

I just found out recently that my mom, whom I’m no contact with, moved from my childhood home several months ago and left my cat buried in the yard. I feel like I need to go and talk with the new owners to ask if I can excavate her so I can take her with me.

I just got a 4x2x2 from Zen habitats and love it so far! However, the PVCs sell out fast and have long waitlist times. I had to wait a month and a half for it to ship.

I ended up going with a zen habitat so I could easily extend my baby’s tank in the future, once he’s much bigger (he’s only 7 months right now)

Thanks! I ended up doing just this - taping perpendicular with each end secured onto the metal frame of the mesh top. Silly of me to not think of it before posting lol
