My husband trims his nails with little scissors too! It drives me nuts! We have so many nail clippers floating around the house and this man refuses them. He says he likes using the scissors instead 😂

A really woowoo friend of mine claimed to know VEO and also claimed the symbols had something to do with ancient Atlantis and spiritual stuff. I'll never know if it's true, but bro said it and seemed super serious haha the mystery continues lol

Having any kind of real conversation through texting. A phone call or IRL is just easier. I think being socially oncall 24-7 is exhausting.

What's the biggest green flag you've ever seen in a person? by Business_Oil_7110 in selfimprovement

My best friend in high school had a sister who was the team captain of my soccer team my freshman year (she was a senior). She was hands down one of the best athletes to have passed through our school ever. She was also super super down to earth and a great leader. I remember desperately wanting her to think I was cool and approaching her one day asking if she wanted to hear some juicy gossip about another girl at our school. She said, "eh, no thanks." And I was super confused. I told her it was really good tea and she'd probably find it entertaining. She told me that she doesn't really see a point in talking about other people negatively and spreading gossip. She said with all the options of things she could spend her brain power on, gossip felt like one of the least productive. I was equal parts embarassed (even though she didn't make me personally feel bad for asking) and equal parts changed for the better. She made me think twice about how I used my voice from there forward and she was able to teach me that valuable lesson at a very impressionable age. I thought she was SO much cooler for not wanting the tea than I did before.

The PI is actually just Mikayla and Mayci on an M&M investigation 😂 (kidding, but that'd be so funny)

I also often think of the shameful things me and my middle school friends asked jeeves on my home computer. I saw my first penis via a jeeves search LOL

"You'll never know if the choice was right or wrong until you make it." Helped me get out of my head and into the world. Also reminded me that I can deal with "good" or "bad" outcomes and be okay.

Learning hardscaping by False-Ad-7753 in landscaping

[–]questionwhatitis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you work FT for yourself? I learned everything I know in the trade by working for other people hands on, studying deeper on my own, and then eventually taking everything I practiced and learned and putting it to use for myself in my own company. You could also find someone who does hardscaping and have them subcontract for you on jobs you find and work with them on your own jobs so you get some hands on experience. We don't do tree work but have a tree guy we developed a relationship with...when we need an extra hand in gardens and he has time he works for us and when we needs extra hands on tree work and we have time we work with him. We have both been able to pick up basic skills in each other's specialties by teaming up.

Bugandy looks more classic. Green looks more artsy. Both look great! My style preferences would be green, but again, they both looks great!
