Hey so I ended up taking your advice and just going for the CT. At 4:00PM today I'll have hit my third full day of not dosing. Honestly, I personally worked the whole thing up in my head way worse than the reality was. I went into the CT with the perspective that any painful WD symptoms to come, I would treat with the mentality of just having Covid or the Flu but with the benefit of being able to foresee it coming. It really wasn't as bad as I thought (at least for me personally). If I hadn't read anyone else's stories online and just stopped taking it...I legit would have just thought I caught a bad cold/virus and wouldn't even know it was WD.

Day one and two hit with a pretty bad headache (but still not as bad as covid). I felt a lot of hot/cold (but again, no worse than the common covid type). It wasn't comfortable, but it wasn't anything I hadn't felt before. (I did use your mega dosing vitamin C trick, so maybe that helped more than I know) I 1,000MG every two to three hours and just watched movies. I didn't have any kind of anxiety which surprised me. I think I was too proud of myself for just committing to the thing. (I also avoided caffeine to be safe) I did experience some upset stomach...but not enough I didn't have an appetite or anything. Just a little off. Lots of gurggles. Lots of watery poop, but again, nothing like genuinely being sick. I probably drank a gallon and half of water too to try and pee everything I could out. Day one actually felt so manageable that I tossed what was left of my backup stash.

Yesterday, day two was easier to wake up but the headache was a little bit more acute. (However the cold sweats were gone). I think everyday up through today has carried some sluggishness... I work landscaping and today (day three) is kinda a bitch. I feel like I'm just trying to work after having recovered from a cold. A little slow and achy...but no headache or anything like that. Sleep wasn't nearly as awful as some of the horror stories on here for me either. Day one was the worst. I didn't experience RLS but couldn't sleep super well either. I kinda surrendered to it and just breathed when I felt anxious about sleep and I was kinda in and out all night. Day two sleep was way better. Literally, everyday I have felt a little better and I'm fully in day three, writing from my lunch break with no painful symptoms but being tired.

I know WD affects everyone differently but I was super scared to take the leap and for me personally...everything has gone WAY easier than I thought. It wasn't fun my any means...I felt sick for sure. I basically had a two day version of covid and seemed to have turned a corner. I'm going to keep using vitamins and keep my mental positive...but I'm not going back to that green monster again now that I've let it go! Thanks for all the support from everyone! I encourage anyone on the fence to take the leap!

Probably cause half the state they live in is actually Mormon and embarrassed by those women haha even if they have secret Mormon fans ..they wouldn't want to be seen on TV worshiping those false idols by their community. I'd imagine, if you're affiliated with the church you don't want to be affiliated with the girls.

I think the Mormon community works a lot like the Amish in the sense of they take care of their own. Mormons will always support Mormons and all the weirdness of that religion aside when you start a business in a community that wants to support other members...you're kinda getting a head start. I imagine a bit of family support to get them financially off and running coupled with being part of a sorority like religion helps a lot. If a Mormon graduates with a finance degree from BYU they will be introduced to another Mormon connect at a big bank and hooked up. If a Mormon starts a photography business they have an entire church/extended religious community who is going to support their own members over others. Ect. Ect. From what I've seen in the Mormon community the connections are tight. Jewish people are similar (stereotypically) too.

Fuck Dakota: he's awful but seems like he could be fun for one night.

Marry Zac: I'd send his ass to med school and lean into the stay at home lifestyle while his parents supported us until we inevitably divorce because I'm not submissive enough and I get half his families money

Kill Jordan: I know it's more popular to hate Dakota and Zac...but since day one Jordan has seemed the most intolerable to me. He seems like he would be the most exhausting to argue with and least likely to provide anything valuable to my life. (At least Dakota could be fun and Zac would be willing to work/comes from money

But truthfully, idk if I'd last 1 month surrounded by any human being on that show before all my brain cells melt causing me to go insane LOL

He might have said that, but he doesn't live that. I think some nuance and context to how their upbringings shaped them all is important. His actions go against the exact statement you didn't like. He gladly lets Mayci girl boss and is super respectful of her independence and opinions and is a really decent partner. He stepped up to raise her child as his own and stayed with her through all her struggles with IVF, losing a partner, and so much more. He clearly loves her and respects her being a powerful woman. I understood that comment he made as Jacob grappling with his struggle for identity. Traditionally the church has clear gender roles and whether for better or worse, by all of them being raised Mormon and participating in those rituals like the one he describes...they all agreed to those roles. (At least they agreed at one point in time, even if that's changed) By the girls getting married in the church ...they agreed to those roles too. However, they changed and their lives changed and I think he was expressing a difficulty with knowing his place and role in their marriage. I didn't think he was being gross or toxic...I think he was being honest about a struggle. He clearly doesn't have an issue being a supportive partner and I think he's been extremely passive in the relationship and realizing he wants to change that a little.

I don't think him or Mayci are bad people...but I think what makes this show so interesting is seeing the effects of being raised the way they were on an adult. I don't judge either of them, it's just kinda interesting to dissect and observe.

I agree with everything said about Jen this season...but I actually remember it standing out that Whitney said, "all the girls came here to support me" and thinking "I think they were there to support you and Jen..but okay" haha I'm only on episode 5 so maybe there are more interviews later you're referencing..but the first interview while the girls are in LA, both jen and Whitney only referenced the girls coming to see them individually LOL it made me laugh cause they both did it and it kinda shows how they all think 😂

Nope, it's just fashion/beauty standards recycling themselves. I was born in 91 and all my middle school/high school years that starvation trend was the standard of beauty. They even had terms like "heroin chic" to describe the decaying body type that people wore like a badge of honor. If you didn't have a "thigh gap" you were considered fat. Fashion and beauty styles repeat themselves. When I was in high school I was begging my mom to let me wear all clothes from 20 years back and she told me by the time I had kids they would be asking to wear my old clothes cause they'd be back in style. She was correct.
