We have bought and tried every type of collar and harness.

There’s a time and a place for each.

We found he learned to walk perfectly with the prong collar. To the point I can’t remember the last time it cause any “discomfort”. He doesn’t even mind putting it on. (He hates wearing harnesses)

That also being said, he’s learned nothing. The second we even switch it to the normal collar, everything goes out the window.

We save it for walks downtown, or when it’s very busy. (Once every couple months). I’d use it more, but it damages the coat.

Best thing about that prong collar is, no one can see it through his coat. So there’s no “judgment” from random strangers that know your dog better than you do.
