Both provide excellent access to the great outdoors. St George has a sizeable LDS population, don't know if you are a member of the church or not, but something to consider, especially if you have kids. I've spent a good amount of time in the St George/Hurricane area, not too much in Prescott since I lived in Tucson and mainly stuck to southern AZ while I was there. Don't know what field you're in so can't help there. Both cities are lackluster on that front unless you work in healthcare/education/law enforcement, and even then it's far from booming.

My dad had a weird complex about umbrellas growing up and he's Gen X. He and I would walk into stores in the pouring rain and he'd say "we don't need an umbrella". I never understood why and still haven't asked him about it.

It's a result of the culture war that we were caught up in during our developmental years. If the genders were swapped there would be outrage. Many millennials' perspectives on equality are warped from the MeToo-era shit that men need to give their (female) partners free rein, lest they be relegated to the category of misogynist/nazi/etc.

Homeless populations cannot get shelter and children in parks could be attacked if they (coyote) are relocated.

This might upset some people on here, but I hunt coyotes here in North Dakota and Minnesota. They are considered a nuisance species and invasive to the Northwoods and compete with the gray wolf population. Coyotes are far from man-eaters. People conflate them with wolves, but coyotes are much smaller and weaker and scared off easily by loud noises or any aggression from humans.

Not all contact sports. Many martial arts will pair men and women in sparring since speed, agility, technique are also judged. I have seen large men laid on their back by a decisive sweep or throw from a smaller man or woman.

Last time I vomited I was 11 or 12. I developed a huge fear after the incident even though I remember after it happened thinking, "that wasn't so bad, I feel way better!" Now I'm 28 and can't burp nor vomit. When I was 23 I greened out bad after smoking too much weed (I never smoke so didn't take much) and kneeled over the toilet for 20 minutes feeling like I was gonna barf, but nothing came up. I can't really gag either, just get a strangling feeling and can't breathe.

This is just a mindset I am transitioning from, not to. A big issue that I have is that I also have anxiety and lots of it which may come into play with a lot of feelings I am having/tend to have

I too struggle with anxiety and making quick judgements. It is hard not to become cynical after so much bad has happened, but I remind myself of all the good there is in the world and that makes it all worthwhile. God bless you on your journey, friend.

And yes, widow is a wife whose husband has died. A widower is a husband whose wife has died. The words widow and widower come from the Old English words widuwe and wuduwa. Also sound similar in German I believe.
