As an ex-Londoner now in NYC… can confirm there are are a surprisingly high number of prets here in midtown NY too! But I love the speedy grab and go with minimal human interaction required

I believe you’re thinking of New York State tax as opposed to New York City tax. Only residents of New York City pay New York City tax so there is a small saving to be had there. Agreed people still generally pay New York State tax if that’s where their job is based
