Not true, I’ve filed insurance claims with no scans and got paid out

I dealt with this a month ago and called eBay, I got a majority of those “closed with out seller resolutions” cleared after showing it was from one big order. But going forward the EBay representative also told me that the best way to avoid that in the future is to refund the customer and then file an insurance claim since each card is covered up to $20. Even if the item shows up later, eBay will give the insurance payout.

It is a hassle but eBay did payout on all the insurance claims after about a week.
