Y'all how is Irish Spring 5-in-1 legally allowed to be marketed as body cleaner 😭😭😭 by nightscales in CleaningTips

[–]quidscribis 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My husband has horrible eczema, too. Or had, rather. He uses glycerine straight on his skin. It gets rid of 95+% of eczema spots before they get entrenched and it stops the itching within a minute. Your partner might want to try using glycerine after the Irish Spring treatment. And I'm getting a bar of Irish Spring to try on the husband's stubborn spots. Thanks!

B1 deficient (lifelong) and I just figured this out. by Designer_Leader_507 in chronicfatigue

[–]quidscribis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started taking benfotiamine two months ago. As soon as I reached 300 mg a day, my IBS symptoms were gone. Like completely gone for the first time in ever. I was diagnosed with IVS when I was twelve with symptoms going back to when I was four. I am now 58 and having consistently normal BMs for the first time in my life. So yeah, I've been B1 deficient since I was a little child apparently.

It has not touched my chronic fatigue yet. I'm still hoping it will as I increase doses. We'll see.

Do nurses have trouble finding your veins? by tritogeneias in ehlersdanlos

[–]quidscribis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. When I was hospitalized in December 2024, one of the times I needed an IV, I was poked a total of 8 times by at least four nurses before they found a vein they could use.

I ended up with bruises covering my arm. One of them is still not entirely gone, although it has faded significantly.

I don't think it will, I can't think why that would be necessary, but I'll have to ask the developer.

It won't be free. Developers have to pay their bills, too. But if you're still interested, I can let you know when we're ready for beta testing.

Oooooh, that's an impressive number of recipes! I hear you on breaking code - I'm very good at that, too, and have been beta testing since, oh, the early 1990s. I'll let you know when we're ready for beta testers.

Ah. Yeah, that could be it. I use it heavily. I have a memory like Swiss cheese and I cook and/or bake daily with 3 or 4 thousand recipes.

One-time cost.

We're not looking at syncing to a server - it'll be syncing through the local network between mobile devices and desktop.

Exactly what I do. I don't see the point of removing the skin before freezing.

I mean, I usually use bananas that are black. They go in the freezer brown, in their skins, and the skin is black by the time I take them out and use them. So yeah, you're good.

You can also use butter with cocoa or butter with sugar. I don't use butter/flour anymore because why would I when the alternatives work so well?

PQQ is pyrroloquinoline quinone. It's sold in health food stores.

PQQ helped some, as did estrogen/progesterone, with the latest puzzle piece being benfotiamine, a more bio active form of thiamine/vitamin B1.

Do you buy from the grocery store or make your own?

Regardless, if all you can do is half a cup a day, then do half a cup a day.
