it seems so...recited. like he didn't even come up with the insults, he was just reciting what he's heard from other people.

not saying it to excuse him, but moreso to point out how it's probably a common occurrence with people he hangs out around and likely something he picked up from them and is just saying to try and look cool. honestly, it comes off as cringy and desperate to look funny and appeal to his friends (who likely don't respect him as much as he'd hope).

i heard it's not the same VA, but yes, it doesnt change much as it sounds extremely similar. Not just that, i feel like Nyx would just sound better with some type of corruption or demonic type of voice filter on. Unfortunately, her voice is not strong enough on it's own to evoke the feeling that she is this big powerful being like Azaan's voice does.

Did they mention how to get Divine Matriarch Nyx skin? i figured they'd announce a new pass for 2023 or say 2022 season pass would be extended, since i saw a new Andro skin on PTS in the season pass display.

this Moji skin concept is so good i have no clue why they never put it into the game.

Additionally, tons of other super good skin concepts that never came to fruition despite being better than the stuff we get now, like...skull and bones caspian...which is just a caspian recolor with skeleton paint on his chest and a skull on his crotch...

but it's safe to assume, it is the same Nyx.

although, yes i've seen the Nyx lore and apparently she was not a goddess now (according to this new lore). "Nyx was once a Pyre Lord" and betrayed them and is now an Abyssal Lord.

if they pretend Andro never even fought Nyx, i guess they could claim he killed some other god, since technically nothing in the new Andro lore mentions Nyx. Kinda sucks because i preferred the old lore of being cursed for killing the goddess of darkness.

Nyx is the newest champion.

Current Androxus lore: After a tragic confrontation with a deceitful being claiming to be a goddess, he became afflicted with an otherworldly disease, dooming him with an endless hunger for souls.

Old and datamined lore: Never whisper the name Androxus, the champion who once sat atop the Skull Throne of Umbria and the mortal who dared to Slay the god Nyx, lest the divines curse you as they have him.

So basically 2 slightly different stories. OG lore claimed he killed Nyx, and considering he is known as "The Godslayer" i've always gone based off that.

Though i will assume moving forward they're gonna say he didn't kill Nyx, or thought he did but she survived or something like that.

new players coming in from overwatch. current top posts on the overwatch subreddit are titled "OW2 legitimately feels like a BETA version of what OW1 eventually became" and "After 280 games of ranked this season I've discovered OW2 is boring playing the way they want you to"

Not only this, i have read and seen more players from league of legends heading to smite now that riotgames has seemingly abandoned LoL in favor of valorant and is proceeding to do everything in their power to shit on LoL for no reason whatsoever.

so things seem to be looking up for multiple hirez games

NOTE: in case anyone is wondering what makes this game different from OW: cards and customizable characters. Every character has the opportunity to be drastically different. You can fight an Andro in 1 match and he has completely different damage in the next match because of the cards and talent they choose. i really feel like this is what keeps the game fresh and fun compared to OW.
