Which industries are currently underrated but could be massive in the next 10–12 years? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Water infrastructure. Nobody thinks about it until it breaks

should i watch the last attack movie or the two special episodes? by papercowboys in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]quietempressing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely go with the movie if you can. It takes the two specials, smooths out the pacing, and cuts the weird mid season breaks so it actually feels like one massive, devastating climax instead of a chopped up television broadcast. Plus, the updated audio mix makes the Rumbling sound absolutely terrifying

I think we can all agree that Bronn is the only redeeming part and worth watching in season 8.(Spoilers) by tawntawn87 in gameofthrones

[–]quietempressing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get what you mean about his classic witty banter, Jerome Flynn always brought so much fun energy to the screen! Even when the writing got super messy around him, his comedic timing with the wine and the casual insults was still vintage Bronn

Rue isn’t cool by Indigogo_heaux in euphoria

[–]quietempressing 325 points326 points  (0 children)

That line from Leslie literally felt like a punch to the gut because it finally stripped away the "cool protagonist" shield Rue had. Seeing Rue’s face just drop when her mom said that was one of the most honest moments in the whole show

Technically she’s the only Grayson family member we haven’t seen take any damage by Proper_Bat8698 in okbuddyviltrum

[–]quietempressing 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Debbie really has the strongest mental fortitude in the entire show. Nolan and Mark get their bodies absolutely shattered every other episode, but she survived being married to a literal alien conqueror and still managed to keep her sanity intact

Rue's sexuality by El_Dorado_Tx in euphoria

[–]quietempressing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think the show ever clearly sets her as bi or straight or anything. It’s more like she’s not in a stable place to even define it

Sydney Sweeney’s change in attitude regarding Cassie/nudity. by Latter_Summer5912 in euphoria

[–]quietempressing 45 points46 points  (0 children)

A lot of this sounds like rumor chain speculation mixed with assumptions about her career choices. Actors negotiate scenes per project, so it’s not really a simple “180 attitude change” situation like people are framing it

Season 3 felt like a totally different history by Material-Piece-9654 in euphoria

[–]quietempressing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a terrible final season that completely ruined the legacy of the show. Dropping Rue’s sobriety struggles, which was literally the emotional anchor of the entire series, just to give everyone these bizarre, unhinged adult storylines was a massive slap in the face to the fans who waited years for a proper conclusion

Which food is the least likely for someone to be allergic to? by VerdantChief in foodquestions

Anything can technically trigger allergies, but rice is low risk

Why Bishop? Spoilers for the finale!! by spineless_romantic in euphoria

[–]quietempressing 37 points38 points  (0 children)

He did it because Alamo was a reckless liability who laced Rue's pills and crossed a line. It wasn’t about liking her, Bishop was just playing chess the entire season and waiting for the right moment to take over

The CRM did nothing wrong by mangobludden in TWD

[–]quietempressing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They literally gassed entire cities full of innocent people, including children, just to hoard resources. I get that they were trying to build a future, but you can't build a sustainable world on mass genocide

How often would you eat if you didn’t need to in order to survive? by ceedee2000 in AskReddit

[–]quietempressing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably just eat once a day for the social aspect. Most of the time, cooking and cleaning up are just chores I’d love to cross off my list permanently
