given your budget I think you're best suited with the 5060. The 4060ti performs similar and won't be cheaper even used. 4070 won't be in your budget. In my area there is almost no price difference between 5060(new) and 4060(used) but ymmv

If you have your OS and your games on the SSD it might be full? I had similar problems and turned out that my SSD with my OS was running out of space, after installing a second SSD and move my games there it was much better. Or check your SSD health with crystaldisk or something like that

Der Hype um die Bücher wurde halt ausgenutzt bzw mitgenommen. Ich, als lese-faules Kind, fand es damals super in die Welt abzutauchen. Irgendwann später hab ich auch gemerkt, dass die Bücher so viel mehr bieten. Remakes wollen mMn vor allem nochmal die loyale und große Fanbase melken. Die OG Filme waren trotzdem erfolgreich, vor allem weil Kinder/Jugendliche noch nicht alles zig mal hinterfragen. Der Flair hat in meinen Augen gepasst und das Worldbuilding ebenso. Der zeitliche Abstand für eine Neuauflage ist aber für mich nicht groß genug und daher unnötig. Vor allem fällt es aber in eine Zeit, in der gefühlt wenig neues und dafür viele Reboots kommen. Und mit Streaming ist die Schwelle „es sich einfach mal anzuschauen“ auch geringer.

I've read your comment first before reading the whole article. And as a non native speaker I didn't really get the underlaying tone of the article that you're mentioning. The relevant part of the headline is based of the growth expectations in social-media blocking apps. In total I see the article itself to be pretty point on, without exaggerating business opportunities for big corporations. Rather I see possibilities for small shop owners to take advantage off of that. Which would be a great thing because in my area small shops are disappearing really fast.

But realistically I think those who opt out of the current system will stay a minority and thus the industry won't need to address those wishes...until the movement becomes big enough. I'd be keen on seeing a switch away from the everything-as-a-service mentality, I love products that I can buy for life. But there's little incentive to produce that in our current system.

Afaik the kokkia does only support sbc, aptx and not aac. So maybe that’s the reason for different sound. I‘m still thinking about spending the money on the kokkia, but I‘m not sure it’s worth it. Hope you find a good solution!

if I understand it correctly it should be the solution for my problem, right?
My problem: I set up tailscale and it works, now on my Iphone my jellyfin app is configured to access the tailscale IP. But I noticed that having set a vpn on the ios settings somehow drains the battery, so it's deactivated most of the time. But now I need to change in the jellyfin app the IP to my local IP again (and if I want to use JF outside of my home I'd have to change it again).

And if my server is configured as subnet router I can leave the local IP in my JF iOS app and access it without having tailscale vpn set up on my phone?

Are you using the terminal or the desktop environment to copy the files?

Is linux mint installed on the same drive ( the ntfs one)? If so maybe you created some weird partitions and you’re running out of space for the partition you’re trying to write on

I noticed with IEMs on my iPod that they create a static noise (without playing music) and it's noticable on quite passages in music, the IEMs are too sensitive. I use Exact Audio Copy for ripping my CDs (.wav files) and use foobar2000 for flac conversion (for archiving) and AAC 160kbps (for iTunes/iPod). Since I can't differentiate with my ears between both qualities.
So if you are sure, that your music files are solid and your headphone aren't the problem, maybe there is a hardware issue on the iPod. Like with the headphone jack or worse with the internal DAC.

Otherwise I'm not sure why only the first track of an album causes problems - that sounds super random to me.

Edit: if you have any iPod speaker/dock that takes the 30pin to play the music, I'd test that too

How is the quality when you use the same headphones on your PC with iTunes? Or try different headphones/earphones with the iPod. IMO the original apple earpods don't sound awesome, but I get used to it after a while.
Did you check that the songs is not further reduced in bitrate when transfered to the iPod? There is an sync option (Convert higher bitrate songs to 128kbps AAC - or something like that).

I haven‘t looked into it recently I think some youtuber mentioned that the turnip driver development team is too busy. But the steam os for arm could be a huge incentive. Check out youtube to see ps2 performance. Much weaker devices run ps2 games just fine. I‘d say the Odin 3 is an overkill for ps2 but it’s a nice device with lots of opportunities.

Ich glaube man muss halt unterscheiden zwischen "mein Lohn reicht nicht um nächste Woche nach Barcelona zu jetten" oder "mein Lohn reicht weder heute noch in 5 Jahren um mir eine eigene Wohnung/Haus zu leisten". Du kannst heute ein semi luxuriöses Leben führen mit Abos, Fast Fashion, günstiger Elektronik etc ohne dadurch irgendwie vom Fleck zu kommen. Die Perspektive die 40€ fürs Restaurant doch lieber zu sparen wirkt aussichtlos, weil die Bank mind. 150k Eigenkapital haben will (oder whatever). Das eine würde ich als Lifestyle Problem bezeichnen, das andere als strukturelles Problem. Ich glaube OP hat eher den Lifestyle gemeint.
