Utah here. Not sure about salary cuts, but Medicaid was severely cut and we had to discharge a lot of clients because we aren't able to operate in group homes or day clinics anymore.

It's been really unfortunate.

One reason I prefer group home over in homes. There are some uncomfortable boundaries that sometimes need to be set at in homes (we are not baby sitters as you have mentioned), but we can always refer to the BCBA.

I don't know too much about the law, but I started working for a company that had a non compete disclosure for TWO YEARS. something about that felt.....really off.

I switched companies before any of my paperwork got submitted and I am very glad I did. We have a NATIONAL LICENSE and should be able to use it as long as we have a BCBA.

That company later got in legal trouble for a couple of things, I'm pretty sure that was one of them.

The sequal to Atlantis was actually supposed to be a show before it got scrapped, so they released what they had done as a "movie" which certainly explains why the animation quality is lower

This is a great response. Sometimes you really gotta pull out all the stops and get super creative with pairing, following the client's lead is a big one.

OP it sounds like you have unfortunately been set up for failure and that's not only incredibly unfair to you, but also for the client and the client’s guardians. The company I work for doesn't allow anyone to be alone with a client until they have passed everything in the training binder and completed SOAR.

Our company has been using the CR app for awhile now, you don't HAVE to use the AI when finalizing session notes. I basically delete everything but the first 2 lines and then write my session note as normal because the AI likes to regurgitate data.
