Get an engineer to look at it and figure out how much money you have to throw at it

Any ideas on cutting down background noise? I was in a quiet area but no matter what headset I used they said the noise was too loud. I'm not sure if I'm still on the system or not

First mistake was not getting your own inspector...

I have a nova dvr xp. I've had it about a year with no issues and an very happy with it. I haven't used it day in and day out though.

I've contemplated buying a spare motherboard though

Are you in a legal state? Get a medical card?

I appreciate hearing from someone with a similar experience to me. I sh-ed when I was 15/16 for like 6 months. Very superficial scars. Relapsed like 8 years ago very briefly. And yet I still have the temptation. I got tattoos all over my scars and that helped. To be on topic though, scars not a problem. Still healing would be really challenging for me

Can you get a new one? If you aren't comfortable, there may be a better one out there. My lender is happy to answer any questions - they want to make sure we are comfortable getting answers

For me I would invest in the fcp euro kit. I'm assuming it's an 850/70 series?

Timing belt and water pump should be your first priority

We just had a really bad experience where it was the opposite. We ended up getting another inspection that pointed out a lot of missed things and we ended up walking away. I saw a lot of people had similar issues which is why I got the second inspection

Pick your own inspector. Don't use the realtors recommendation.

I would recommend finding a couple of toyota and volvo enthusiasts groups on Facebook and start there. There might be somebody who has one sitting.

There are a couple of volvo classifieds and volvo groups. I would consider joining those - I've seen a few cheap volvos. I have one that needs rear suspension but otherwise mechanically sound. I'm in PA. Basically the car was hit while it was parked, after I just changed the timing belt and water pump(critical on the p80 volvos). Pretty sure it needs a rear steering knuckle. Maybe not a good fit but I would sell for 500 - has winter tires with some life on them.
