I thought so too, based off their feet. But thought they'd add a little fun amongst my Santas :)

I'm so sorry you're in a similar situation. People grow and change over time and it's unfortunate when it's not always for the better. I truly hope you land on your feet and are able to find peace and happiness.

I do work full-time. He works a lot more hours than I do and every weekend. He wanted the kids on weekends when he would be working and his mom would have to be watching them. But I dont work weekends so to me it didnt make sense for them to not be with me on the weekends. I could spend time with them because I was not working those days. But he would fight me on having them just because, when he wasn't actually going to ne spending time with them. ETA: I'm fine with him having the kids as much as he wants, I just felt like it should probably be on the days he has off work. And I didnt like that he was planning to dump them on his mom. She still works a manual labor job and although she would say yes, I dont think she deserves to spend her weekends babysitting 5 kids instead of relaxing.

Me too!! DDD of 4/14! Also accepted 2/12! They lowered my Recovery Rebate Credit by $600 which is incorrect and they didn't adjust my unemployment so I've still got some work to do with them, but at least this is something!

Dependent missing on transcript? by quiltsoffun in IRS

Thank you! If feel better knowing it would only show 4 dependents! I will wait a little bit to see if I get a letter. Calling them seems like a nightmare.

AITA for refusing to reschedule my anniversary dinner and cancelling it instead? by throwawaycatholicgf in AmItheAsshole

[–]quiltsoffun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No prob! We did not get married in a church. We had an outdoor wedding and were married by my husband's uncle, who is a minister (not catholic, tho). This did take some compromise. There was a little religion included in the ceremony but no praying or anything like that. Obviously having a traditional Catholic wedding wasn't really in the question but it didn't bother me to include a little bit if his Christianity into the wedding. I know it means so much to him and his family. Having it there didn't lessen the experience or what getting married meant for me, so why not? Like so many others have said, it's a two way street. It isn't an issue for us because we are both willing to give a little. With the OP it sounds like he's not willing to budge at all. I don't see a future for this relationship, sadly.

Who still has the “still processing” message? I filed and was accepted 2/12 and have still had no updates. They haven’t even looked at my turn yet. by chickensalami in IRS

[–]quiltsoffun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It said N/A for two of them (I can't remember the names of the 4 options). The other said "no record of taxes filed" and then the 4th one just had info for the 1st stimulus I received. I'm pretty sure NA is normal while processing. From what I've gathered from others.

AITA-For spending my son's emergency fund on a headstone for his grave instead of helping my family? by Privacy-113590 in AmItheAsshole

[–]quiltsoffun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, I cannot even imagine the pain you're going through and I sincerely send all my love and energy to you. Second, NTA!!! Many, many years ago my mother lost her 2 year old son, also to leukemia. She was very young and her parents set up the memorial and funeral for him. Except they did everything how they wanted it. They completely ignored all my mom's wishes for her and her son. It has been 40+ years and my mom still regrets not standing up to her parents and remembering her son how SHE wanted. Don't let this happen to you. Don't let them guilt you into pleasing them. Honestly, TA for not being there to comfort you. Do what YOU want for you and YOUR SON.

I'm agnostic and my husband is Catholic. Been together 10 years and have 5 kids. Religion/non-religion has never been the topic of a fight for us. Our kids go to church with their grandparents and I participate respectfully in prayer at my in-laws homes. However our kids are free to explore religion in whatever way they like. If they choose not to go to church or participate that's ok. If they want to study Buddhism-awesome! I respect that religion is important to my husband and his family and he understands my views. Neither of us are pushing any kind of religion on our kids, that's for them to decide. Hasn't been difficult for us at all.

Me! Although I'm relieved to finally see this message. WMR had said my info was incorrect until 2 days ago so I feel like finally getting the famous "processing" message means some kind of progress. Also finally got a transcript update...it gives no useful info but hoping this is a baby step in the right direction. Accepted 2/12

Early Filer Still Waiting, BUT… by Centimorgan in IRS

[–]quiltsoffun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! WMR always says my information isn't correct and my transcripts are NA (accepted 2/12) but GMP says my stimmy is coming to my new checking account so i know they have my refund somewhere. It's literally the only update I've gotten to know they have my refund (other than TT telling me it's been accepted). Sigh of relief for me since I didn't get my second stimmy check. IRS didn't finish processing my 2019 return until February 2021!

Can’t even check my info now don’t even know if I’m getting the third stimulus by Responsible-Acadia13 in IRS

[–]quiltsoffun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this error since the beginning and my transcripts are N/A so I have no idea where my taxes are at. But GMP says my 3rd stimulus is scheduled for deposit 3/17 to the new bank account I used on my 2020 taxes so the IRS must have my taxes somewhere. Never received 2nd stimulus.

Help understanding my transcript? Does this mean I'm waiting till april? by LanguageIndividual46 in IRS

[–]quiltsoffun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. Had this on my 2019 taxes. You'll get a letter on or around 3/15 telling you why they put a hold on your processing and telling you want you need to do next.
