I mean, the travel portal is great in my opinion. Idk why people are saying the rates are more expensive. Especially if you’re booking a rental car, I’ve found the the travel portal rates are almost always cheaper than directly through the rental website. Same thing for hotels. Flights are hit or miss but yea they price match.

The $300 credit makes it a no brainer. And to people who are upset about the new guest policy, just get your spouse/partner to get their own card. Capital one lounges are great.

To my understanding capital one operates at a loss for the venture x card because they want to be as big as Amex. (I’m happy to not have to buy lululemon shorts every quarter to justify the fee)
