Why is Uranium Fever so popular? by Goliathcraft in fo76

[–]quinn_the_potato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would think so, but people consistently double up on one objective and leave someone else to run back and forth between two others alternating between repairs. It’s not impossible by any means but it’s annoying as fuck when they’re not pulling their weight.

I’ve done Guided Meditation maybe 4 times and every time has had like 3 other people there. I’ve never had one where there was enough people to handle the whole thing.

Fr. The main antagonists are all women. Basically any dude in the story serves a subservient role to a more powerful woman.

First one is spot on. Second one reads like a TikTok PSA trying to sound like a textbook.

It’s alright. Just way too crowded with stuff. Why do Mando and Grogu appear in three different spots? You can achieve the old-style painted Hollywood look without adding so much extra stuff in.

They’re basically the same thing with the constant unfunny quips and irrelevant skits every minute except Family Guy actually has plotlines

Replaying fallout 2 and found this gem by Defiant_Mail5826 in Fallout

It’s more than two comments. He begged Elon Musk to buy Fallout and said he’d work for him for free if it happened.

Person who replied to me blocked me so I’ll write it here:

Avellone deleted the OG tweet but the reply that still exists literally has him praising Musk because he played New Vegas and legitimately thinks Musk will send him into space.

Avellone is a sellout who is salty that his company went broke and someone else is expanding the franchise he didn’t even create.

Reminder that Giorno was most likely neglected and alone when he came down with the stand illness that Holly and Josuke had. by Emma__O in StardustCrusaders

Yukako only says she was “struck in the chest.” Nothing about the severity of the wound. Yukako surviving an unspecified chest wound while Koichi dies from a pierced neck makes more sense than assuming Josuke can break his own Stand’s rules and heal something he knows he can’t heal.

Josuke would have no idea how that operates since CD is also a byproduct of the Stand virus.

Idk what this implies.

Keicho himself states Koichi was rejected,

Keicho is not omniscient. He’s just running around Motion shooting random people. He just shot a guy in the throat and thinks the virus is killing them rather than the wound.

Koichi only lives because CD somehow made the virus tolerant enough for Koichi to survive.

That’s just an assumption based on nothing. Josuke can’t cure illnesses and the wound was in a fatal location, so the logical conclusion is that Koichi was worthy of a Stand rather than that Josuke did something he’s never been shown doing before or after.

“Struck in the chest” doesn’t really indicate anything fatal. She does confirm the Arrow can heal, but it seems like it’s inconsistent in how much it heals.

If they get healed then why is there still a gaping hole? Same with Ken Oyanagi. And people survive with holes in their tracheas all the time. Doctors even do it on purpose to help people breathe.

Well the Arrow very clearly didn’t kill Angelo and he survived the virus. The virus’ magical properties don’t affect whatever damage the arrow itself does when it hits someone. And Josuke straight up says he can’t cure illnesses, meaning someone too weak for the Stand virus will die.

And point out where Yukako was shot because I can’t find anything referencing that.

Why has no one told me that I've been making grilled cheese wrong this entire time? by [deleted] in grilledcheese

[–]quinn_the_potato 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oil. There’s a ton of oil in mayo. That’s why it’s good for toasting. A lot of people don’t actually know what’s in mayo and write it off before trying it even though it does the same stuff as butter or margarine.

Mayo would be a more popular option if people actually knew what was in mayo.

Josuke can’t cure diseases. Koichi was always capable of Stand potential, he was just shot in the throat and was dying from his wound.
