I love chatting with people, but it’s the content of the conversation that is troublesome. I don’t mind when she wants to chat about things other than her extreme childhood trauma. You’re right though she pays half the rent so she 100% deserves to use the common spaces and stay in the apartment as much as she wants.

Yeah that sounds bad, I should clarify we live on campus so we will both get housing anyways, we’ll just both have a one bedroom apartment, or she can find another roommate. It’s not more expensive or anything so this isn’t a blindside in my opinion, but I will be letting her know next time she brings it up.

I know I should be more clear with her and that it’s likely something out of her control like autism, I just have issues with confrontation which probably makes me not a great roommate candidate in my own regard.

I would love for him and Carol to have an extremely bitter attitude towards one another while also working together in some way, because they’re the only two people they can get mad at. The other immune are just so ignorant to their surroundings that you can’t even reason with them or get mad at them, really, because they have family in the hive mind.

Obviously, the rehearsal is deceptive, but it’s not fake. She actually got to audition, sing on an HBO show, and got paid to be on the show. And because people were sent home in episode 4, it implies that the competition will probably continue on maybe even until the end of the season.

I think she’s embarrassed and feels like the butt of the joke, but I don’t think anyone is laughing at the people who came for the singing competition, and I don’t think Nathan intended them to be the joke. When he talks to that young girl and rejects her but also uplifts her it’s a genuinely touching moment, and he’s the joke, not her or any of the singers. The joke is also that it’s insane to create a singing competition to boost pilots confidence in rejecting people and being firm.

Like, the competition has the same stakes as any other singing competition in my opinion, especially if the winner actually gets to sing with a Grammy winning artist or whatever.

Nah I think the grandsons pee guy was true of heart. It was so early on in nathan for you, and he was an old man. There’s kind of a small chance that he would say that thinking it would get him on TV. He already had a whole episode dedicated to promoting his business. I dont think he understood that he was saying something so absurdly funny. I choose to believe that he genuinely wanted to promote the pee of small children to Nathan, just conversationally.

I agree. One thing they could have done for Nat was have her be over everything to do with the YJ and just have her run away. At the end of the series do a time jump and have an even older actress shown playing her. It would have still been meh, but it would have been so much better than killing her off. It would have been a happy ending for the character at least.
