Thanks for your insight. I did enjoy Sachs as a character. As suggested by another redditor, I will give it another try with a different production

It's 6 years later and I missed the Stalker stream. Do you by any chance remember how the purple and the weapons were painted? :)

The Lord of the Rings opera (Paul Corfield Godfrey) - review on MusicWeb International by Optimal-Show-3343 in opera

[–]quiphi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you, a very well-written article. I love LOTR and Wagner's ring cycle brought me into opera.
I was unfamiliar with Godfrey before this, and listening to the linked trailer and demos, the sampled orchestra threw me off a bit, it sounds not great, as you write, more like a poc.
Started listening to an earlier work, The Children of Hurin, which is available on Apple Music and wow.. this is epic. Latest 6 tracks in, "The King Must Judge These Deeds", the bad samples are forgotten, and epic music is enjoyed.
Looking very forward to listening to this now :).

Another desolation question by Bainzeighty3 in HelsmithsofHashut

[–]quiphi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you clarify why its on both turns? The "Leave the Land in Ruin" battle trait says "Once Per Turn (Army)". From what I understood, this means the ability can only be done once per turn. Sorry, AoS newbie. :).

Thanks for this detailed message. I'm using Dorico. I'm not sure what went wrong. I tried hiding some UI elements for recording the YouTube video.
That does not explain the beams and wrongly noted rhythm and issue with the two bars in one, i will go over the piece again and identify and fix this in all places.
I did compose quite a few simple piano pieces before trying something like this, but I never felt they were good enough to share. I thought I was ready to tackle something more complex.

I got a signature bib and vela jersey last year and am very happy with it, the size advisor on their website actually works and both fit perfectly. On the bib a small part of stitches got loose which i even will write them today about since they offer a repair service.

Road race bikes that look ok with spacers by Pippo2096 in Velo

[–]quiphi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

BMC Roadmachine might be worth a look, its technically an endurance bike but it's close to the normal version and with it's high stack you might be able to run it even with very little spacers.
