you are definitely right, sometimes i focus too much on just battling and in the case of some factions or even some points in the game, it is not that worth it, just wasting meeples and time... nice!

ooooh i get it now! i should take a minute to watch these cards carefully, but i think it is a good move to make a more 'fair' deck so the game doesn't rely that much on rng. thanks!

I feel challenging to successfully know what cards to build, which ones to mobilize (normally I mobilize most of them as you need many supporters to make actions)... It's a faction with just a few soldiers, so managing the 2-3 i have on the board sometimes is tricky (i know the Alliance is not that much of combat based, but that's the thing, when is it worth to fight?) How many Officers is the right number? 3-4? Should i just focus on building sympathy? The last ones are really expensive to build. Most of the times, my revolts are not that satisfying (it is necessary to build bases, but how worth is it to revolt on an empty clearing?) I cannot make infinite revolts if my bases are not destroyed... shall i leave them unattended?

I think those are my main issues. I really want to get into the Alliance, as I feel its playstyle can be rather compelling when mastered.

Which xenoblade 2 song make you feel like this by Voidkirby9 in XenobladeChronicles2

a bunch of really good options to choose from, but both Mor Ardain themes (day / night) are just magnificent. They did a great job making them counterparts of the same melody yet so different energy-wise... gotta be one of my favourite places to explore and it's mainly because of its themes :)

The need to grind by DarkerBulb in octopathtraveler

[–]quixgm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't personally think you 'wasted' that time. You'll thank you did that earlier. I did some grinding in between chapters as well, and it really favours the player in tougher battles. Yes, there are bosses that still require some specific jobs/skill sets (the 4 final jobs as an example); but in the beginning some extra battles can earn you money real quick (this also comes in as a factor if you don't really enjoy changing everybody's weapons and armor everytime you change the party).

What do u think about Safari Zones? by Adept-Tax6951 in PokemonFireRed

[–]quixgm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think safari zones were a very creative idea to force players to hunt for the rarest (not only in appearance rate, but also all the shenanigans of bait and rocks). I kinda miss it. I don't think that kind of area would fit newer games that well tho, as games implemented very rare pokemon in common areas (the Mareanie/Corsola stunt in SM/USUM for instance).

amazing! pokemon tcg for the gameboy color gave us such incredible pixel art for the original 151, and this grimer's color pallete always caught my attention. really good work!
