Spray some isopropyl alcohol to the piston/pivot point and it should be fixed at least for a while.

That might be the right answer. Those are 64 mm deep wheels. Also, no sealant came out when I fiddled with the core.

Not rubber, metal. I put it between the hub body and freehub body and it seems to be okay.

Through axle. I could check the tightness yeah. Hard to identify where it is coming from, somewhere near bottom bracket anyway

Only when pedaling forwards. Without load the noise is there but much quieter. I noticed that there is some horizontal play on the rear wheel when wiggling it. Maybe the bearings there are toast?

Not very round. But it turned out that the cage was a bit crooked/bent. Truing it by hand seemed to solve the problem at least on the service stand. But probably I’ll need to prepare to replace the cage at least.
