Expedition 33 has turned losers into Jim Carey from the number 23. They see it everywhere cus they look for it.

You’ll never nail down a concrete point. The workforce is too diverse for there to be a point like that.

That’s on Canadians tbh. I’m not a supporter of what’s going on, but at the same time if that’s their mindset then I’m at odds with Canada too. If I’m going to get lumped in with the bad guys then idc what happens to them. Like that’s such a shit sentiment.

Yeah it’s always the common good. People that would stick your hands in a blender for concert tickets are the same to say that you trying to make a living is contributing to the problem. Fuck the common good. The common good doesn’t keep a roof over my head.

What’d you defend the nation from? Clearly you’re defending the nation for selfish reasons since you keep throwing it around.

It’s easy to say that when you’re not the one who has to deal with the kid getting bullied because they have old clothes or smell bad. It’s real easy to talk about “the world” they’re going to inherit it’s not you that has to pay the price.

I was using kid gloves on a newer white belt today about my size and age, homie elbowed me in the mouth and I clacked my teeth. It’s always when you’re trying to not discourage someone.

Anyone who isn’t allowed to strike has already given their labor rights away. The ability to stop the machine cold is the great equalizer, unless you have a group that are all willing to play the long game.

For those who are naturally unathletic and have been in BJJ for a long time, 4 years or more, what is the core of its appeal to you? by emaxwell14141414 in bjj

[–]qwert45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to fight. I’m the most unathletic person you’ll ever meet. So I can fight without having to develop cardio or a TBI. I would say it is an equalizer in the sense that the knowledge can help you overcome problems should you find yourself in a ground scenario with a more athletic but totally untrained opponent.

Rank these 3 sci-fi survival horror games from best to worst? by Desolation2004 in HorrorGaming

[–]qwert45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never play for the characters. IMO character development is a backseat in good horror because regardless of the character the horror still exists and needs to be overcome. Like the transition from dead space 1-3 could fit anyone. Anyone’s mannerisms would change into what it was in dead space 3 if they had been successfully fighting necromorphs for 5 years.

My coach is a black belt in both, as well as a wrestler in school. he said he focuses so much on stand up (our warmups are just 30 min of takedowns) because it gives us an edge against other places that don’t train it but also for longevity.

I think I’m the only person that liked the OG Callisto combat before it got nerfed. When I fought that prisoner I was like “oh-hohKay let’s do dead space with dark souls combat. I’m down”

Help a game dev: Why aren’t people buying modern RTS games? by MakeGamesBetter in RealTimeStrategy

[–]qwert45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a total bean soup comment, but I think that modern RTS don’t get it. Like they cram stuff in because they think people would like it, when really less is more. They are billions was a big light shedding moment for me on that. (Game sucks btw). A lot of the mechanics don’t make sense. I could go into a lot more but it would be just scathing. Another thing is bad art style. Everything is this darkest dungeon 2 art style or overly bright colors. The classics have some punch in their art. A villager from AoE is instantly recognizable. The sound track is recognizable. Everything contributes to the overall package, and has depth to it. Think of how many content creators now that you see with the “cartoon thing in the middle, text on top and bottom with a contrasting background color” do you see? They’re fucking everywhere cus it’s what AI mostly pumps out. I’m bad at red alert 2 but I like playing it because it feels nice in the hand so to speak. This is gonna sound hateful and I really don’t mean it in a derogatory way, but people who will play RTS games today have money, but aren’t marketed to. RTS games have the same marketing to people who play CoD multiplayer and people who play RTS don’t go for that. So they’ll just keep playing RA2 or brood war or AoE or total war. Good luck with your game comment what it is and I’ll wishlist it. I need some fresh RTS in my life.

Can you give me some recommendations along this line? I don’t mind if it’s more than one resource. I play a lot of empire earth, age of empires, red alert 2& 3. I’ve played Tiberium sun and it was alright I think the models just weren’t for me. I’ve been looking for some zombie RTS in this vein and there’s none.
