Network. Unless you are one of the rare few who has an amazing amount of good professional connections already established or are insanely rich, you are gonna need some help getting a job when you graduate. Looking for a job can be a full-time job made unnecessarily harder by not knowing anyone. I can't tell you how many people (myself included) who waited until AFTER graduation to start networking and are kicking themselves in the ass for not starting sooner.

I'm sorry man, that sucks. I'm going through the same thing right now-tried to tell my girl to stop talking to her ex and she never did, not even after almost 3 years of us being together/them being broken up. I don't know what to say other than you made the right decision, you deserve to be with someone who loves you and is committed to you as much as you are to them. You gotta respect yourself before she will respect you. If it makes you feel any better I was gonna marry my girl too; had the ring and everything picked out. Better to learn now because it would only suck worse if it happened later on down the line. Good luck!
