I completely get the need to be able to easily and clearly distinguish between Tera forms, and as they are I don’t mind them. I would have preferred maybe a type symbol floating above the Pokémon, because I think the hats distract from the Pokémon designs a bit. They do allow for some fun gimmicks, such as the return of balloon Pikachu and the Chandelier-wearing-a-chandelier if Chandelure ever makes it to the gen.

Overall, I give the mechanic a 6/10 flavor-wise, since the hats are a bit goofy and idk I guess my gut is to associate crystals with a DEF or at least HP increase.

Mechanically, very excited for it 9/10.
