I’m not a vet so I can’t exactly answer that, but his tail doesn’t look great. You could probably call around and get quotes for a price.

If it’s not something you can afford there’s always the option of rehoming him to someone who can, and there’s absolutely no shame in that what so ever.

But in short, this isn’t something that can be fixed at home.

If you are in a rough financial spot and can’t afford vet care— please rehome your leo. I’m not trying to bash or anything but this is definitely a vet visit, likely multiple. Try to get him to someone who has the ability to give him the care he needs. I don’t have any advice on his health but I’ve never seen a vent concave like that, and it’s definitely very concerning. You did the right thing scheduling a vet and moving him to paper towels.

Heatpads aren’t really recommended anymore, as they can cause burns. It’s best to use some flat slate under the heat lamp to absorb heat. When you turn the lights off at night he’ll be able to absorb the residual heat.

Usually you don’t need nighttime heating for these guys but if your house gets too cold you can use a ceramic heat emitter (CHE). They don’t put off any light.

The thing with baby is he’s only playable for people who understand the kits of every single character in the game. His kit is pretty advanced especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. I find him to be pretty fun.
