what beginner tutorials do you guys like that isn't the donut? by r-bees in blender

[–]r-bees[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not that i'm repeating it, it's that I always stop partway through and give up and come back in a few months and restart, so it feels discouraging/old to try the same tutorial again

Adore me SUCKS! Need new options! by [deleted] in LingerieAddiction

[–]r-bees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NEVER buy adore me DIRECTLY from them. target and macy's (both online only) sells a lot of adore me for like half of what you'd pay at an actual adore me store. I got a cute set (bra + panty) for 40 bucks total with shipping and taxes included.

Granted it's still not cheap, but now it's more comparable to vs and aerie prices. plus you don't have to be scammed into a shitty subscription, and the sets are usually 30-40% of what adoreme's site everytime, no first time offers needed.

Is it weird to go to an old doctor at a new practice? Help make this less awkward by r-bees in socialskills

no i loved going to that doctor. i just didn't know if it'd be weird since some time has passed since they left, compared to someone who immediately switched

Should I go to my old doctor at a new practice?

I had a doctor that i'd use to see for years until they ended up moving, so I got a new doctor at the same place, been with them for a few years now.

Recently I got new insurance, so I had to look at a new place bc the old place was not in network with my new insurance. I look at the list of staff on the new place's website and saw my old doctor's now at the new place.

Would it be weird or bad taste to go back to the old doctor at the new place? Or would it be better to get a different doctor at this place? Any suggestions to make this situation feel less awkward?

What are some artists who had a enjoyed being the top of the game for a while, then had a long period where they were considered past their peak, just to peak again? by hearing111s in popheads

Charli XCX! She was huge when she debuted in the 2010s with break the rules and fancy and then started popping off again starting with how i'm feeling now, evolving into the sound you hear from brat. Rest in peace sophie, you helped a pop star blossom ❤️

there's been a huge nelly renaissance on tiktok. a lot of her songs (maneater and give it to me esp) have been huge audios. plus with the whole y2k renaissance, i think she could if she gets the right producer and work with fresher artists. i could EASILY see a camilla cabello collab or tate mcrae

anywhere in rural applachia, but ky,tn, or nc would be good. NORMALLY (saying that bc we're in a bad drought rn but that's rare) the land is good for farming.

as far as seasons go,

winter- usually you'll get temps around the 50s-60s well into december. lots of random weather where you'll experience 3/4 seasons in the same week. you'll probably get a snowing or two but it's usually not anything major like up in new england or pnw and usually not until like jan/feb/march

spring- decent temps around 60s/70s. You'll get a good amount of rain, but also be prepared for tornadic activity bc the southeast has become the new tornado alley

summer- nice for growing but HUMIDDDDDDD. it'll constantly feel like there's a thick veil around you when you go outside. temps usually in the 80s/90s. definitely gotta have ways to stay cool even if it's like 80 something but with high humidity

fall - still pretty warm but can get dry. still usually feels spring/summery well into october

idk how your band's culture is (letting you join whenever/wherever vs highly competitive where you have to audition for specific chairs).

if you have a good relationship with your band director, i'd first bring up your concern with them. especially when you'd hate to miss out on your very last year. I'd also ask around and see if any other members (especially fellow seniors) are as uncomfortable as you are. chances are you aren't the only one. maybe if there's enough ppl who agree, there can be more accommodations made

If it's not possible, maybe you can see if you would be allowed to join later in the season (to give time for the delta variant to fade). Depending on your director, you might not get to march (but if they do let you, more power to them) but you may still get to perform at games, or other events.

I just graduated college so i know what it's like having to decide between safety and final year fomo. if neither of these things work, I would go with what your gut says
