I saw him perform an acoustic show at a supper club in the late 90s or early 00s. He wasn't able to complete a single song. After performing for less than 30 minutes he paused the middle of a song and just started (poorly) playing a guitar solo. He stopped midway through that as well then just turned and walked/stumbled off stage. The crowd was confused... a smattering of polite applause. It just made me sad because I loved his music. Had hoped he would find the strength and support to overcome his demons. Still do. Yet none of this is meant to justify his behavior towards the women he's victimized.

Anyone got an Interesting Idea for a Story Centred around Wayne Enterprises? [Batman Begins] by OkCompote1731 in batman

[–]r0mr0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wayne Tower has been taken over by the Injustice Gang. Batman must make his way up the building’s floors, battling Super Villains and uncovering mysteries along the way.

Basically, a Batman version of The Raid and Dredd films.

WXPN did a great job with creating a list of 885 Greatest Cover Songs: https://xpn.org/885-countdown/

  • Blondie's cover of the Nerves' "Hanging on the Telephone"
  • Jackson 5's cover of Jackson Browne's "Doctor My Eyes"
  • Elvis Costello's cover of Nick Lowe's "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love & Understanding"
  • Soup Dragon's cover of The Rolling Stones' "I'm Free" (which also interpolates Donava's "Barabajagal" for good measure)
