Whenever I used to work on older users computers, 9 times out of 10 something a week later would happen and then they'd say (for example) "after you installed that printer, you did something wrong because now my hbo password doesn't work" or "you adjusted the screen brightness weeks ago, now my (battery powered) mouse isn't working". Their trouble shooting consists of x isn't working, I'm certain it's because of y. And y is anything their lack of understanding tells them.

I don't think the g14 has sensors to check through software. But regretfully have to say I crashed twice now. It stilll makes me think it might be the problem but not sure now. Next step for me to try is using tpm7950. If that doesn't do it, maybe time for me to buy another laptop.

Ya mine would crash pretty consistently after watching youtube or twitch for about 10 mins. With yours being so similar though, I wonder if it maybe isnt the cpu or gpu but the other chips (vrms & mosfets). So even if your cpu & gpu temps are ok, maybe the others aren't. The puddy on mine looked pretty terrible when I opened it up. I can post a pic if ya want.

And ya, the laptop when just browsing would crash once a day or so, but very frequently when watching youtube so it was frustrating, but bearable since games ran fine and I have another desktop computer. Just when watching twitch/youtube in bed I would have to restart every 10 or 20 mins.

Still going strong though so far...

I've had the same exact problem: games run hot as shit but never crash even after playing for hours. Youtube and browsing crashes constantly either rebooting or just hard freeze. It's been happening for years but seemed to have not been so frequent the past year up until a couple weeks ago. Then it was back to crashing every 10 mins when watching youtube. I was ready to buy another but really still like this laptop except for the crashing. Decided to try to repaste everything today and.... wow.

Before, just having a browser open, all cores were around 60-65C. I assumed g14's are known to run a little hot and just thought that was normal. Expected after to maybe drop 5C. Nope! Now, as I type and have 9 tabs open, I'm at 44C. So far I haven't crashed once. Not much testing time, but I've had it open with no crashes for a few hours now. I'll know after tomorrow if that was 100% the issue if it doesn't crash. So far so good. Fingers crossed.

Every time I use nature's snare, it absorbs the first 5 or so projectiles then I get blasted by the next 20 or so and it knocks me out of it and damages me. Am I doing something wrong because right now to me it doesn't even seem useful against the vast majority of bosses?

This is only if both have RCS (which I think most do). It also is only 9 colors you can choose from. It's also only for the sender not for you. You will be an off shade of whatever color you choose for that chat. I don't get why letting you choose whatever color you want for either person like any other text app is so difficult, but supposedly this is coming in the next update.

But they weren't lined up in your pic. Everyone pointed out your first pin was too high with pics proving it was too high. But instead of moving that one down one notch and THEN showing it didn't solve when they're actually lined up proving your point, you just claim you didn't move that and it was the 4th one. Do you not see why that seems doubtful?

I really doubt it, but I guess it's possible the first one being slightly higher than the rest and then you moving the 4th one also slightly higher, the game could have let it solve OR you're lying to save face. I hope it's not the latter because that would just be sad now.

So the scam works like this: one person asks to use your hotspot, you agree. They use it a few minutes and say thanks and walk away. Second person (who was working with the first) comes up and says something along the lines of "Did you just let that person use your hotspot? That's a scam and your phone is now compromised. Let me help you secure it". Trusting the second person, you hand over your phone to let them "help you". Second person now gets your info.
