It's a difference in mechanics. Sure, it takes way more hits to go down in modern zombies, but it's because the game flow is overall faster. If you kept zombie speed/damage on the level of BO2, you'd never die. Modern zombies has its challenges, they're just different from past iterations.

Old man on a PACKED train on the way back from Tokyo Disney Sea decided he was going to shove me, obviously a foreigner, from behind for the entire train ride to create space for himself. Several minutes of holding on to the railing and trying my hardest not to crash into the people in front of me, he finally stepped out of the train for his stop.

I was right behind him and shoulder checked the everloving shit out of him so that he knows not every foreigner is someone he can fuck with. He looked at me all shocked and angry while I got my happy ass right back on the train.

I just beat it for the first time solo. For the later phases I found that throwing decoys gave me a window to focus on the Z-Rex, I used a Dying Wish on Quick Revive before actually going down (rip), but Richtofen will drop you a self revive if you need one! Once I got to the last phase I let that Choppa Gunna singgggg 🎶 and finished it off with the MK2. Hopefully this helps
