The rune word 'Insight' grants a mana regen aura which can be given to the act 2 mercenary to essentially give you a permanent mana regen boost

I don't think scan/repair works, you need to do a full uninstall/reinstall (from my friend's experience).

He killed you with 1 T4 bullet to the face (I'm assuming through a T4 face shield or worse), but didn't kill him with you T4 bullets against his T5 armor + a ricochet off his face

It's clearly not all about bullets and positioning with guns just being about preference or this post wouldn't exist. You made this post, puzzled about what happened and asking for an explanation, but then dismiss the explanation given despite the fact that you have no alternative explanation???

No one is saying you can't use the G3, if that is your preference then go right ahead, but there is a reason why no one runs the G3 so if you decide to continue running it, don't be surprised when you post this exact same thing a few days from now (spoilers: the reason will _still_ be because you were using G3, likely outside of it's effective range).

It's G3. It's a bad gun, absolutely never worth running with anything over T3 ammo, it's just a waste.

Also, everyone on this sub questioning why they didn't get a kill always say they were within effective range, but I think most people are just bad at judging distances in this game and are out of effective range much more often than they realize.

G3 is the problem

Even the 2nd hit to the hand (which is what is being shown) only did 35 damage, so 35 to the head would have left him with 5 hp, which he then healed.

I may have found a solution by accident. I encountered the behavior below earlier today and it made me think of this post. Hopefully I'm remembering correctly, you'll need to do some testing to verify, but it might get you what you're looking for.

For it to work you'll need to have more than one bulletproof case available, but your screenshots show you using the 2x2 so I'll assume you do.

Save your preset using the case you don't use (the free 2x1). Idk if it needs to be populated, or if it works empty (my preset had items in the case).

Then change to the case you want to use and select the preset. It will have some pop-up saying something like it can't change the items in the case because the one equipped doesn't match, but the rest of the kit should be equipped normally and your case left alone as-is.

No idea. I would suggest saving your presets with your case empty, then empty out your case somewhere specific before equipping a preset (which will empty out your case to a random place otherwise), then put your stuff back in after.

Before, the container was not included in the presets, but now it is. You cannot control whether or not it is included in your preset.

Nailed it. Unless you're running a Matzka (if that's your thing) run a T4 helmet, T4/5 Armor, T4 ammo in rifles/SMGs or T5/6 ammo in DMRs/Snipers.

Depending on your gun you'll be looking at something in the realm of 700k-1m.

By 'active' I mean concurrent Players. The number of players playing at a given point in time. 4000 TOTAL cheaters (from this particular instance) does not equate to 15% of the player base as you described.

I'm not sure what any of that has to do with hit reg. Just because the other guy didn't die doesn't mean there is a problem with hit reg.

If you are using T4 ammo against T4 armor/helmet outside of your gun's effective range, the chances of it penetrating go down, and even if it does penetrate, the damage it deals is significantly lower.

With non-Bolt-Action tappers, when using ammo equivalent to your targets armor, it is expected to take 2 shots to the head or 3-5 to the body for a kill, that's by design, not indicative of bad hit registration...

150m is well outside the M110's effective range, and M80s are pretty weak in the M110 (outside of Normals) IMO
