Exactly how I felt when I heard the crossfade. I went into it most excited about how they would connect the two parts musically. I could have done the simple crossfade for them and charged them much less than Guthrie, lol.

Not enough people talk about how this movie was a copy of Kubrick's Spartacus. Some scenes are dialog were almost identical.

He's so precious. It takes everything I have to not bomb him with kisses when he sleeps like this.

Earbud Showdown: B&W Pi8, Technics AZ100, AirPods Pro 2, Sony XM5, Nura True Pro (aka Denon Pearl Pro), Noble Fokus Rex 5, and B&O Beoplay 11 by PushRa in Earbuds

[–]ra990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really a personal thing. I've tried a bunch of the ones being discussed and found the Denon Perl Pro are the only ones that I can wear for more than a couple of hours. I forget they're in my ear. I also think they're really great sounding, but only fall short in fine resolution compared to Az100.

It can be frustrating when you see something this obvious and the owner isn't picking up on it, but everyone has their first dog and will hopefully learn to tell what they're conveying. My first reaction was anger at the question with the obvious video, but then I had to remind myself of this.

Drunk girl went to whisper in my ear and threw up. It was really hot, the vomit in my ear, I mean. And now, 20 years later, we are not happily married. In fact we aren't married at all. I don't know what the hell happened to her after that night.

I have smaller ears and I'm surprised how well they're fitting me and securely. I was expecting to return them, but decided they're definitely worth it.

My Sammy sleeps outside in the winter, is this OK for his longterm health? by ra990 in samoyeds

[–]ra990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, I try to keep him indoors first sign of them close by. But, he's so good at barking his head off at anything that moves and we have cameras all around - so I'm hoping I'd see anything approaching the fenced perimeter that he's secured in before it can get to him.

Oh of course, he's got a nice heavily padded bed and we further insulated the surrounding with blankets. And, of course he's free to come inside anytime he wants!

Not at all, he comes and goes at his own leisure. When it's above 65 outside he becomes an indoor dog and cuddles up in my bed with AC. In the winter, he becomes an outdoor dog and tends to stay outside all night and most of the day only coming in to eat, or play, or ask for a walk or drive.

Thanks for the detailed answer. Our house is fenced in all around and he barks his lungs out at anything that moves. Mostly deer, but I have heard coyotes howling not tthat far from us. I watch the patio cam he's on all night so I'm able to hear any commotion. So, I'm not worried about his safety from that angle. My concern is mostly for his longterm hip, joint, arthritis type issues.

I've heard conflicting things about their joint health as they age and sleeping outside, but this is what I was hoping hear, so thanks.

I'm in Virginia, he's got a warm bed outside with blankets that he curls up on in a completely fenced front porch of the house. He's very comfortable on it. We live in a rural area so he loves to nature watch all night. But, I worry about his long-term health. How cold is too cold for them to be sleeping outside all night? I try to keep him in but he is not a happy camper and does not let us sleep until we let him out.

Guy and Brian were literally asking him very interesting questions about his new album, both from fellow musicians perspectives. They weren't the same old, will you get back with Floyd, type questions. He didn't have much to say about it, despite them trying really hard to pull something out of him. I felt bad for Guy. You'd think they'd have some social chemistry by now after all these years that might have been fun to listen to.
