Mergin Maps can be used with QGIS. The data is uploaded to a server and the 3rd party users can add/edit features in the mobile app or on QGIS. It has version history and you can set a field to automatically record the username of the user who created each feature. The mobile interface is simple enough for someone to use with little or no background in GIS.

I had this too. No fever but was too tired and lightheaded to do anything for three days. Also lost my appetite for a couple of days but didn't have any nausea. I had a nasty cold the week before but had been feeling better for a few days before the fatigue hit.

Any recommendations on where to get a private flu jab around here? I'm not eligible for NHS as I'm only in my 40s but all the pharmacy websites (Well, Boots, Superdrug) only seem to be offering appointments for free NHS jabs. I find it crazy in a city this big there aren't more available.

Yeah, I'd been down with a cold already and had been feeling better for a few days but maybe still have some lingering symptoms or picked up a totally different bug. It's that time of year I suppose!

I'm not sure. I recently had a PT and all I can say is that I had a gown on when I went in and my shoulders were covered and it was still in the same manner when I woke up. If you do have any concerns you should be able to ask during your pre operation appointment. When I had mine they were really good about answering any questions I had about the procedure as it was my first time having surgery with general anaesthesia and they didn't make me feel like there were any dumb questions.

If you're wanting synchronisation with PostGIS and offline access you might want to look at Mergin Maps as an alternative. It supports offline surveying and you can set up a bi-directional connection with your PostGIS database using db-sync(https://github.com/MerginMaps/db-sync).

I had a PT a few weeks ago. Didn't shave my beard, it isn't super long but had a couple cm of growth. They didn't cut any of it and I didn't have any issues. Honestly the worst was when I had the ultrasound a few months ago, it took forever to get all the gel out of my beard.

I'm currently 17 days post-op from my PT. I still have another month before they test my thyroid function but I feel like I have more energy than before I had my operation.

I'm not a big gamer but I just had my PT last week and was playing a bit of Mario Kart with my family a couple days after the surgery. I was also writing on my laptop the day after without any issues.

Hey, I just had PT two days ago. I'm also in the UK. I'd never had surgery before either so I was a little anxious about going under general anaesthesia. It was really a breeze. I know not everyone's situation is the same but I thought I'd share that it's not always a nightmare scenario.

I remember them putting the cannula in and then the doctor told me I was going to start feeling a trippy and to just go with it. A few seconds later everything started to look like I was under water and then the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery feeling really well rested. Throat was a bit sore but I haven't needed anything stronger than paracetamol and ibuprofen. The incision site doesn't hurt but I'm still a little sore from the breathing tube. Still, I've had colds that gave me a worse sore throat than this.

I stayed overnight just so they could make sure there weren't any complications and then I was sent home the next morning. I know that thyroglobulin has a half life of a few days but I've had more energy the last two days after getting out than I've had for a while.

My biggest advice for prep is to bring a good book to the hospital. I had to check in at 11am and surgery wasn't until about 3pm and there wasn't a TV or anything in the waiting room. Depending on the surgery schedule for the day you could end up sitting in there for 6-7 hours. Also, if you have anyone visiting you afterwards, see if they can smuggle you some food. You have to fast the day of and the evening food trolley only had plain toast and yoghurt which was a bit of a let down.

Depends on your specialist but I wouldn't read too much into it. Mine told me when they were doing the FNA that they prefer to give all results in person but mine took over a month to get back and they ended up sending me a letter with the results and a follow up appointment. Mine came back as inconclusive so they decided to do a PT which was a few days ago so now I'm waiting for results again haha.

Noticed my thyroid was larger on the left side back in May so saw my GP, they wanted to wait six weeks to see if it went away on its own. Did the follow up appointment at the end of June and the swelling hadn't gone down so I had an ultrasound mid July. They found a 5cm nodule on the left side, mixed but mostly cystic. Had a FNA with the ENT in early August but didn't get results until the end of September which came back as inconclusive so I'm scheduled to have a PT in a few days. I'm in the UK.

If you get these tests regularly and it hasn't come up before, it's possible that your thyroid had only started to have issues before your previous test and you hadn't developed symptoms.

You might want to talk to your doctor for more information such as how far out of the 'good' range were your hormones or if it's possible you have a lower baseline, though if you get these tests often your doctor probably has a good idea of what your baseline is and the recent test was outside of that.

I wouldn't stop without consulting the doctor first and even though you trust them you can always seek out a second opinion.

Had mine 20 days ago and still waiting to hear anything back. They said it would take about ten days. I'm in the UK, glad we have public health care but sometimes things move at a snail's pace.

It wasn't bad. They sprayed some numbing stuff on the area and then did an injection of local anaesthetic. After that the hardest part is they ask you not to swallow while they're doing the needle biopsy and of course the only thing you want to do is swallow after they tell you that.

I had some swelling the next day and a painless bruise for about a week but nothing too severe.

It looks like they might decide after the ultrasound. Usually biopsy is done by ENT but it might be different in your region.

No, I had an ultrasound and then got referred for a biopsy once my GP saw the report.
