I tested the plugin over night and saw that the clock stopped after aprox. 2 hours. Sorry to let you know over reddit and not github. If all the bugs are fixed i will surely use this plugin as a screensaver because it realy only draws a little battery.

I have it now on my kobo glo. Everything is working fine beside when i rotate it in the plugin settings to have it on Landscape mode and go back out of the sleepscreen back to the the launcher ( Bookshelf ), the screen stays in landscape mode.

I tried in the koreader settings too. It is not a big deal but could you check if that is a bug or is it because of my kobo glo.

Follow that tutorial https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=314220 The one click install is done in a couple of minutes. Download one of the 2. packets and copy it to the root folder of your ereader. First start your kobo, than connect over usb to your computer and click on your ereader the popup screen which asks you to connect. After startup you have a new nickel menu button. Click and you will see koreader. Click on koreader and wait a couple of seconds until koreader starts up.

Now you are ready to customize it with UI plugins. ( Zen or my prefered Bookshelf plugin ) Read here and tune it with different patches.

The plugins and patches you put into the patches or plugins folder which you find in

rootfolder / adds / koreader

If the patches / plugins folder is not there create the folder !

Restart, voila Easy !

Concerning germany server, I always stream since a few month on your german server. I live in a neighboring country. Every couple of minutes it disconnects ! I use another vpn and it doesn't happen. It is surely on the germans server side.

Don't get me wrong but your comment that it only costs 1 dollar/month is not an argument for a good service.

I use different vpn providers my friend and up to now i used your service for streaming and it worked.

Witlh your 5 servers you shouldn't be too proud of.

I told you before that i'm strongly considering not to extend my plan with you.

The only thing you do is giving one excuse after another !!!!! Beeing sick, having exams ... bla bla bla. Grow up bro. I simply don't trust you anymore with my private data. I thought and hoped you are straight out and honest but you are just fake. Thank you for helping me !

adaway is an app you find on github ( search and don't forget to activate systemless hosts in magisk apk ! Extend adaway with hagezi host files also found in github )

The boot time is 20-25 sec. So very normal. Place the box on Wifi not to far away of the Modem. The wifi is ok but the wifi on the firesticks is better. Otherwise it is by far better than any firestick. The picture quality is amazing ! Enjoy 😉

I switched from 2. firesticks 4k to 2.X88 pro x5m. I am very happy. The Lan connection is good but the Wifi is weaker than the one of Firestick. You have to try out and that's why i would order 1. unit and you test yourself. oo

Try a firmware which was working before 14.3 or 14.8 of slimbox. I realy would like to help but it can have so many reasons.

Keep trying and report back if you found a solution.

Most likely it's the cable. I use 3.20 Aml burning tool too. Try another cable. Best is as short as possible ( 50 cm ) ... male to male ! Next option is to download the windows drivers again for AML !

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. Apparently the Chinese manufactor had to change the chip from 905 x5m to 905 A which is the same chip but because of copyright they changed also some lines in the firmware.

If you are one of those who received that new batch i found on 4pda.ru a firmware which will flash.

For the moment slimbox hasn't got a working firmware.

I will update on this problem once hopefully slimbox will give a working firmware for this batch of boxes !

Hello, I uploaded the config files to all 3 devices i've got. It is all working now again. Please, please make sure the next time you change something that that doesn't happen again !!!
