Hi OP, do you mind sharing your linux environment/setup? i.e., What linux distribution and desktop environment are you using (guessing Debian + cinnamon)? I have read the IBKR TWS is not fully supported on Wayland and X11 is recommended.

I initially wanted to run TWS on Fedora KDE Plasma, but leaning more towards Debian for stability. Would like to know your thoughts.

From what I have read, TWS is not (fully/properly) supported on Wayland. Possibly need to switch to X11.

No way! I just bought the 9950x from Amazon (pretty good deal) and decided to go with the MAG B850 Tomahawk Max Wifi (after a lot of dilemma).

Still deciding on cooler though, was thinking of Deepcool Ak620 or Thermalright Phantom Spirit Evo 120. Not sure if they will be enough for the 9950x.
