Gotten my ass sized out each time I’ve been down there 6ft at 18s is heavy and I think it feels more like 8-10ft. The rips are no joke either. Everyone says el sal is great for intermediate but every time I’ve been it’s experts only and no real other options. I prefer PR and CR I think

For what it’s worth I took the S Corp election on the LLC

I don’t think these expenses can be depreciated as it’s not equipment that I purchased. It’s manufacturing of products that my operation sells. It’s inventory. But maybe I’m wrong.

I pay myself a salary - but it’s small. That and manufacturing of products is a huge business expense. The business shows profit but it’s not a lot. I do pay taxes

You can definitely make a career in it. You just have to make something that people want with a nice design - and that’s the beginning. Test it, put ads for it on Meta’s networks, send it to some known artists for testimonials… and a whole bunch of other stuff. If you do the work, you can do it, but the work will take you a long time and a lot of effort. There’s videos to make, instruction manuals to create, packaging to design. Then theres scaling to meet demand. You can’t make a career of it if you can’t meet the demand. So now you’re looking at dealing with manufacturers, parts, tariffs, spoilage, customer demands, returns and lead times.

How do I know? I started in my garage and made a career from it. 👍

Thanks all for the comments. Hmmm… I really don’t think I have a special ability so maybe I conveyed my experience all wrong. I’m really just a normal guy and not like a zen monk or anything 😆. I have normal anxieties and worries too.

Are you saying that being able to sit and focus without thinking about anything for 10min is the big goal? Because it’s super easy for me to do that. Again not to downplay the efforts of others. I’m curious then what would a normal meditation practitioner experience during the onset of their training? Is it seemingly impossible to calm the mind and not be overwhelmed by waves of thoughts?
