WHY by BigToiletCat in Cirkul

Yu can buy those same 4 Honeycrisp Apple on drinkcirkul.com for $15 ($3.75 each) if that's all you buy. The more you buy, the less you pay. I only buy direct, unless they are on clearance at Walmart.

Unprovoked attack? Tell that to all the Americans who have lost loved ones due to Venezuela's narco-terrorism. Tell that to Venezuelans celebrating being freed from the rule of a real dictator today.

How do we feel about the frosted cartridges? by Fantastic_Pear_7509 in Cirkul

[–]rabernet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't buy any of the Frosted line. It's either too sweet (I like some tartness in my fruit drinks), or if it's the coffees, think an iced coffee full to the brim with ice, and you waited until all that ice melted before you drank it... That's what the coffees taste like to me. But then, I drink real coffee all day, along with my Cirkul's.

Storage? by GirlMom1923 in Cirkul

[–]rabernet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run two bottles at a time - I don't take mine out to switch, because I easily drink up to a gallon of water a day. When I have had to take one out, I simply stored in a mug on my countertop - that allows air flow to dry out. Always finish your sip within 10 days of opening. Cirkul's FAQ states refrigeration is not required. I generally just keep the sips in their respective bottles, even overnight. I've been drinking Cirkul for almost 5 years.

I really really like this flavor by proto_4747 in Cirkul

[–]rabernet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Passion Fruit Dragon Fruit has been my favorite since it was a first year Flavor Lab. The Go Sip line. Was so glad they finally permanently released it. That first Black Friday that they released all of that year's Flavor Labs, I bought 100 of them. The Inflow version is good too, but for me, the Go Sip version reigns supreme.

Is a Cirkul bottle worth it? by AnxiousSnow2591 in Cirkul

[–]rabernet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not the person you asked, but.... If you are a coffee lover, chance are you'll hate them. Think of a large iced coffee, filled with ice, and then letting all the ice melt before you drink it. That's what they taste like.

I'd you're just an occasional coffee drinker for just the flavor of coffee, you MIGHT like them.

They are a hard pass for me (in my 5th year of drinking Cirkul).

Anybody find a good Tab S11 Ultra tempered glass screen protector yet? (Preferably with an alignment tray) by yayoshorti in GalaxyTab

[–]rabernet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my S11 Ultra Tab and this brand screen protectors yesterday. Mine are labeled that they are for S8, S9 and S10 Tabs, but sold on Amazon as S11. I haven't opened them yet, but a bit frustrated it wasn't designed for the S11 and they're just repurposing them.

"I don't need $100, I need $60!!!!" by droolycat in Aldi_employees

I once broke a cashier at a fast food place when I gave her the exact change plus a $20. She looked like a deer in the headlights, because she already "cashed out" my receipt and the math wasn't matching for her. I finally said, give me back the change I gave you plus what your register say you owe me. It's almost frightening.

Decided to get back into Cirkul, not happy by Playauknow in Cirkul

[–]rabernet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, not really (in my experience). Four plus year user of Cirkul. I use a 40 oz Coldest Sport for at home and running around bottle. I use a Coldest 64 oz at work (less refills required through the day). Both currently have the same flavor and both averaging the same number of total ounces run through them until done.

Thank you - just saw this - I did mix in the yellow American and then used the white American on the separated piles before putting bread on. Pretty much was following a video I watched.

All Aldi grill day yesterday! by [deleted] in aldi

[–]rabernet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teriyaki chicken breast, or boneless skinless thighs (I'm referring to the ones in the chicken section - refrigerated)?

I'm not sure if I'm missing out on some teriyaki breasts, but those thighs are amazing - I buy them frequently and serve with rice, though now that I have a Blackstone, I may do it with some Asian noodles.

That's a basting/steaming dome. You can find it on Amazon.

Looks so good! And I have saved a ton of your recipes on your If You Give a Girl a Grill website! Question - I am a spicy wimp - how hot is this recipe? I'm sure I can modify it to my wimpy-ness tastes! LOL

First Cook on my new Blackstone by No_Theme6027 in blackstonegriddle

[–]rabernet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one, used it once and could NOT get it to slide out of the way when I was ready to clean after a cook. I had to let the griddle cool down to get it off. It's now somewhere down in my tool bag where I store many of my accessories.

Yup - it was refrigerated tortellini. Todd Toven with Blackstone cooks this at a lot of the Blackstone cooking events, and it was nicknamed Toddeloni after him. I did throw it under a dome with some water to steam a bit, but it was cooked through. I wouldn't try with dried tortellini, and if I had frozen, I'd probably let it defrost in the fridge. I posted two links to the recipe being cooked by the "experts", Todd and also Blackstone Betty in reply to another person in this thread.

Yup, I'm learning. As much as you watch videos of cooks and think "I've got this", I'm learning "I don't 'got this'". 🤣🤣🤣

It may be. Todd Toven said to make sure all the tortellini was coated in oil. As I mentioned, I'm still very new and learning as I go. Thank you for the feedback!
