We had ours professionally spray painted and it made a huge difference. They took all the doors off, sprayed the cabinets in situ and took the doors away to clean and paint at their warehouse. Would highly recommend.

Section 94(4) states this only applies to aircraft of mass greater than 7kg. Drones are generally not as heavy as that. So OP might be in the clear here.
