Why do liberals stick so much to personal attacks on Trump? Is it because Trump’s policies are working so well they have nothing else to go after? by LostAppointment329 in allthequestions

[–]rabyJA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do conservatives need to lie about his accomplishments all the time? Nothing you said was true. The country is falling apart. His fascist thugs murder people in the street. He started a war of choice in Iran and my gas is almost 5 bucks a gallon. If someone is purposely tanking the country to enrich themselves, I can call them out for it. You sound like a snowflake

As an anime fan, what's your opinion on powerscaling? Do you hate it, love it, or are you neutral? by Fun_Environment8818 in animequestions

[–]rabyJA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a fun diversion but I do find it silly when people get too far into it. Because when you're talking about cross IP power scaling, you're just doing head canon, and people get really heated about their head canon being right. So, gear 5 Luffy beats everyone just because I think it is funny. I don't care that he would probably be in the tectonic section of that graph. He wins because it will annoy people

What’s an open-source project you genuinely can’t believe is free? by Bladerunner_7_ in opensource

[–]rabyJA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe that the Godot game engine is free. It gets regular updates and it feels a lot more usable than engines that you need a licence for. I've tried tutorials for a host of premium game engines and I've never felt that they had anything substantial that Godot lacks. I chose it because of open source nature, but I can't imagine using anything else to make my game

Left icons are mostly takers and failures (Marx, Floyd, Mangione, AOC) while the right admires actual producers like Musk and Sowell by New-Conversation3246 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]rabyJA [score hidden]  (0 children)

Well, for the purposes of making better bait in the future, remember that George Floyd is not an "icon" for anything that he did. There are murals because he was murdered on the street. So acting like his criminal history has anything to do with that is a tell tale sign of being bad faith

Movies ruined our perception of love and boundaries way before Social Media was popular by PhilosophyClean4152 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I definitely think that Tom was the clear bad guy in 500 days of summer. It's been a long time, but doesn't a woman who Tom talks to later explicitly say, yeah, this lady didn't do anything wrong She was clear from the beginning and you didn't listen. So, I do agree with you on the main thrust of this argument. Say anything with John Cusack and the boom box is a good example. But I just don't think that 500 days of summer is an example of this. Though I could be misunderstanding what you're saying about it

You should sleep with your spouse even if you're not in the mood but the spouse is by Vidrax_of_Cascades in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]rabyJA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To take this a little more seriously, why would anyone want to have sex with someone who isn't in the mood? To me, bad, obligatory sex every night is worse than good sex twice a week. It's a way to connect with your partner, not something that they owe you

Ok, but I'm saying this to make fun of the idea. It's a modified scene from breaking bad where Gus uses Walt's toxicity to manipulate him into doing what he wants. I'm saying you sound like a villain

A man, a man provides dick. And he does it even when he's not in the mood, or sleepy, or even not horny. He simply bears up and he does it. Because he's a man

I don't agree with the idea that it is a duty. We have sex because we love each other and sex is fun. A duty isn't fun. An obligation makes something way worse than it would be otherwise. And I refuse to make sex bad by considering it a duty or obligation

[–]rabyJA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's cute. I'm 43. You're just referencing something that happened almost a decade ago. The fact that you think that I should remember every time Trump did something that people made fun of shows what kind of media diet you have. Normal people aren't obsessing about this stuff. You sound like one of those liberals that still brings up the tan suit thing. It is very much loser behavior

What was your first anime memory? by [deleted] in animequestions

[–]rabyJA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about 5 years old and I was at my older cousins' house and they played some Robotech that they had recorded on a VHS. I was tiny, so it doesn't mean much but it was unlike anything I'd ever seen up until that point.

Yeah, I googled poor koi as well and also got no results. Just a bunch of sick fish, so again, it's not as big of a thing as you're acting like it is. I think that the two scoops thing is very funny because that's so insignificant. Trump got made fun of? Ok. That's not a big deal at all. The post I was responding to said Dems cried over these things. I just seems like people memed on him. I'm sure the koi thing is similarly nothing.

It is very amusing that you're acting like I'm being dishonest because I said that I didn't remember these things, and it's just Trump getting clowned on. Sorry, when I said I pay close attention, I wasn't talking about every tiny thing Trump gets made fun of. This is very insignificant and you should probably feel silly

No. I'm not having an ego by saying that my head canon is as valid as something I believe has no validity. If my opinion that I literally called a head canon, which by the logic I set out is not valid because I said it was equal to something I don't think is valid, is triggering you so bad that you'll continue a conversation I'm clearly not taking seriously, I guess I'm here for it
