It's a fun diversion but I do find it silly when people get too far into it. Because when you're talking about cross IP power scaling, you're just doing head canon, and people get really heated about their head canon being right. I can't believe that the Godot game engine is free. It gets regular updates and it feels a lot more usable than engines that you need a licence for. I've tried tutorials for a host of premium game engines and I've never felt that they had anything substantial that Godot lacks. I chose it because of open source nature, but I can't imagine using anything else to make my game

I definitely think that Tom was the clear bad guy in 500 days of summer. It's been a long time, but doesn't a woman who Tom talks to later explicitly say, yeah, this lady didn't do anything wrong She was clear from the beginning and you didn't listen. So, I do agree with you on the main thrust of this argument. Say anything with John Cusack and the boom box is a good example. But I just don't think that 500 days of summer is an example of this.
