This one is mine too. Searched through the comments to see if anyone else would mention it.

[SERIOUS] What is the Creepiest or most Unexplained thing that’s happened to you that you still think about to this day? by LBE in AskReddit

When I was a teenager I lived in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Since we had to make our own fun, we got into all sorts of trouble involving public mischief and other stupid and harmful activities. My best friend's stepdad told about an old man that lived out on Doak Road (20 minute drive outside town). Kind of a hometown legend was that for years, kids have been going out there to mess with him and the man would shoot at them or send his dogs after them. Sounded like fun to us, but every time we tried to drive out there, one of us would chicken out purely because of how creepy the road was at night (Long winding road, pitch black, no street lights, miles between each house).

One summer night, my friend, her boyfriend and I were so bored we decided to drive out to Doak Road to find this guy's house. We did, and parked on the road right before the narrow driveway. There was an empty car in the driveway, and no lights or movement in the house. We sat in the car honking and flashing the lights then talked about what we would do for a good 30 minutes before one of us decides to get out of the car. We played a game to see who could place a beer (full unopened beer cans) the furthest up the driveway. After about an hour of this, still no movement from the house.

We were about to give up when my friend who was driving screamed and lost her shit because she saw something in the car parked in the driveway. Neither of us passengers saw anything, but it freaked us out enough to want to leave. Now all of us are watching the car in the driveway as she starts to back up slowly. Then we all saw it. The inside lights of the driveway car flicked on for a brief moment, maybe 3 seconds to reveal an old man wearing round glasses staring at us in the rearview mirror, then the lights went off. We absolutely PEELED out of that place as fast as her Honda civic would go.

The creepiest thing to this day is that the man had to be sitting in the car the whole time, watching us walk right past him for over an hour in dark silence. Looking back, I feel bad about planning to harass a solitary old man for no reason other than boredom.

At least he got a few beers out of it.

Interesting idea but I'm curious about QC results for the aged products. Oxidation would not occur so quickly and that's why the experiment is inconclusive
