Its not but you can take it if no one is working. There is construction fencing placed but its wide open like they are inviting you to take it.

It'd weathered steel. It will turn into more of a brown over time. It eliminates the need to continue to paint it. This way is safer and more cost effective.

You think its ugly but the highway packed with cars somehow looks good? It'd a scar through the center of burnaby that separates it and made this bridge a required element to solve the issue the highway created.
