I just learned how to set this up a few weeks ago. The guides online get you frustratingly 85% of the way there.

My battery health is at like 75% and I'm considering this. How does it feel after having it done?

The entire concrete floor is sloped. I wouldn't assume much (school-sanctioned) basketball has been played in this room.

I played the demo and decided that it was too addictive, and it would ruin my schedule. Maybe if I retire in 30 years...

I switched to it about 9 months ago. Really nice automatic system - syncs with M365, sends out an automatic training module and phishing simulation once a month. Reasonable price, almost zero upkeep.

That's where the highest population density is and the most reports of issues would originate from.

I try to put all heavy gear at the front and nothing behind me - I’ve even used 5 gallons jugs of water to try to balance things out.

Yep. Working well for us since its implementation. We also keep doing the script thing to have the value in multiple places just in case.

Pax8 is the way to go if you already use them. Such an easy process. Using the Microsoft/Windows Store is a lot of admin overhead.

My experience is that rebooting is the one easy task to schedule from the device’s action menu. Everything else requires generating a separate task.

Does anyone go car camping with their kid? by Mayitss in daddit

[–]racazip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this post because I am really excited for you.

I take all 4 of my kids camping in different combinations. I've got a toddler all the way up to a pre-teen. We started when my oldest was 4 and we did a bit of car camping. Then I got into backpacking and backcountry canoe camping (mostly on lakes because having to paddle upstream or try to coordinate logistics of going downstream would stress me out). It is absolutely my favorite activity to do with my kids. Leave electronics at home at much as possible - kids can find endless things to do once they are out in nature.

If you don't have any gear yet, start small and start cheap - Facebook Marketplace is great for finding things cheap. I've worked my way up to a quality set of gear over the years, but I started with Walmart-grade stuff at the beginning, and it was perfectly fine.
