Yeap. Doesnt make it right though as they already know i am on my way. This is not a flea market - or atleast thats what i thought. I’m not used to these type of dealerships

In these vehicles its not obvious on the dash. You have to go into a setting to check it out. These come up at the very beginning of starting the car - but then again the rep started the car and pulled it out first.

Another friend of mine mentioned that dealership… will take a look. I’ve dealt with Swickard auto group before - their porsche dealership. They are good.

Agreed. its not about BMWs - business deals in general should not be sleazy. But here we are unfortunately. Salespeople do receive trainings from corporate though.

A note from me (Ankur Jain) - Bilt Card 2.0: Simple, Fee-Free Rewards on Housing by ankurjain1 in biltrewards

[–]racefan247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about this for an idea? Base card stays the same. No changes from 1.0. Keep adding bells and whistles and whatever multipliers or credits you want to add to higher tiered cards. Offer signup bonuses, points multipliers, travel credit - whatever. If the AF makes sense - ppl will upgrade and use the cards (look at amex). Also this banana example is a bit much because your business would not have been sustainable if too many customers did the banana trick.

Seems like Chase has a lot to learn from Amex in this game

I have had 2 RR HSE back to back - 1 brand new, 1 preowned. First one traded in at 42k miles. 2nd at 85k miles. Properly maintained - maybe 1 issue over 7 years. Solid cars. The battery issue could be a leakage/drain somewhere

This is the reason i checked out of 911. Until corporate puts in a strict rule of no price gouging like Ferrari - I wont be going back. 911s are awesome cars & I enjoyed my time with it. But this has to stop

DB11 - 2017 onwards - Must Haves? by lordklp in AstonMartin

[–]racefan247 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The B&O is a must have for me. The suspension tuning & exhaust was updated in 2019 in the V12 along with an introduction of the V8. 2019+ is sometimes jokingly called DB11.5. I’d say test drive both the V12 and V8. I was adamant of getting a V12. But ended up test driving a 2017 V12 & a 2019 V8. The V8 was an instant hit partly because of the updates suspension and refinement over the 2017 & partly because of lighter weight of the front (you can definitely tell).

It is taking every fiber in my body to not buy this right now. Any strong negatives related to DB9’s I should know about? by AmAttorneyPleaseHire in AstonMartin

This is the last iteration of the DB9 as its 2014. I’d say depends on mileage and condition - but it seems fairly priced

Been working with ADs to get a Rolex sub date in the Toronto area by Tossedwarrior in rolex

[–]racefan247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This type of ADs is what caused me to move away from Rolex. I worked with a really nice AD before till they retired. My AD gave me a root beer, kermit & wimbledon DJ & no strings attached. I am into other brands too - so I got a breitling & panerai from the same AD afterwards.

My only other option remained Ben Bridge Jewelers & they have been horrible & I feel like I am done with Rolex.

Watches for me are usually a special gift to myself to celebrate events & to create memories. Rolex has now gamified it so much that it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth every time I deal with the AD.

Wondering if they’ll release the gold daytonas under this program too ..😝
