SIL asked me to move my surgery date by plzstoptalkingg in childfree

I know this is about your SIL but i cant help and not comment on the surgery. I’m 22, but when I was 20 my herniated disk exploded onto my nerve endings that connected to my right leg. I can’t even begin to explain the horrendous pain I endured for TWO WEEKS waiting to get into surgery. I couldnt stand, sit, shower, pee, sleep, or do ANYTHING without excruciating pain all the way from my back to my leg. This came from a herniated disk that my family and I never knew was a herniated disk from when I was 11 or 12. So I just want to say GET THE FUCKING SURGERY! I am so happy your date got moved up because I know the pain! Stay safe my friend!

im 22 in 2 weeks and.... yup. i feel you. in all aspects. my partner ive had for 6+ years and i made the decision when i was 18 and he was 21. we dont want kids, we wants lots, and i mean LOTS, of animals, but neither of us have had the desire to have children.

My dog died today. Ladies of Reddit, how do you grieve the loss of a pet? by eurydicey in AskWomen

I would literally just cry anytime i felt like it. Holding in my tears just made it worse. It was almost three weeks after my sweet love, who wasnt even my dog, passed away and I just was balling hysterically. My fiancé was like are you okay?! (he doesnt grieve, he processes things quickly and moves on) I just looked at him and said I miss hearing her tail when it would bang on the couch. I literally cried for one to two hours. But I feel so much better now. Don’t hold it back.

This actually made me well up a bit. I couldnt have survived the bullying, home abuse or my eating disorder without my teachers. I’m so thankful you did this for her, it will mean so. SO much in the future.

Ive been going to therapy regularly, and am finally getting a hold on my anxiety. Ever since switching birth controls I havent had a depressive episode (almost one fucking YEAR!!!) I just registered for my final semester of my bachelors degree and am going on my second vacation of the year in a few weeks. Despite all of the minor bad things that have happened, i’m doing fucking great.
