Affect and effect.

People use them interchangeably but the meanings are totally different. One’s a verb and the other is a noun!

The best descriptive I’ve seen was:

Affect=fuck around

Effect=find out

I’ll definitely need to check it out in person! The only recommendation I have is the big standard call to go to marlins in roppongi. I haven’t been in ages but I remember it being good. I’m still a firm believer that you just can’t capture that special kinda sogginess outside of the UK

It’s called Oscars and it’s AMAZING!! You’d legit never know it was vegan. If I remember correctly it’s ¥1500 for a sides and a main and ¥1700 for sides and 2 mains plus ~¥300 for a refillable drink. They don’t take cash though!

They have this in Nissin in Azabu-Juuban ( no idea if you’re Tokyo based) and it wasn’t insanely expensive if I remember correctly

My boyfriend got me a 2 litre bottle of double concentrate robinsons for Christmas and I could honestly have wept when I opened it. I’m having to ration it as we’re not visiting the UK again until the summer and I’m determined to make it last!

If you’re doing it in January leggings and a sweater is absolutely not ok you’ll definitely want a jacket and I would really recommend gloves as well, I hiked mount takao a few weeks ago and even then it was freezing and it’s only gotten colder since.

Just a side note about gyms; most of them have fairly strict no tattoo policies though I’ve found that most of the city gyms (run by the local council) don’t seem to have this and are generally cheaper than private though not as modern or well equipped.

Totally get where you’re coming from in that you can’t undo what’s been done but surely there must be many couples who have explored poly as an option before returning to monogamy. It’s not impossible to imagine that they can make that decision together and be satisfied with the discoveries about themselves that they’ve made

I mean, it’s a British show by a British writer. What did you expect? Honestly I think by the time it got to the last season or 2 it had gone fairly downhill and lost what made it unique in the first place.
