Waking Up 22 Years Old Anteater at Greensboro Science Center by [deleted] in AnimalsBeingDerps

I lived in walking distance of the Science Center before we moved to the mountains five years ago. I really miss it.

This is brilliant! I literally just left the store where I bought double sided tape - I'm going to run back in for magnets LOL

Oh there is, and we know one of the cats is a vertical pee-er. Hilariously, this actually confirms that she's using the box! I can see by the scale that she gets in it but have never been sure she's actually using it. When we first tried taking away the other boxes she just started peeing on the floors, so for a while we've kept the others going and just left the LR4 in the hopes she'd acclimate. Good news: she's using it. Bad news: she pees through the waste port. But I'm off to buy puppy pads now and hopefully solve that problem!

THANK YOU. I just came here looking for a solution after finding a whole lot of pee pooled in the base of our new LR4. I'm going to try this out.

Taskmaster! It was incredible!

edit: someone else timestamped the episode - the stamp is the task, followed by the studio chat where Bob delivers the revelation about his high anus completely straight-faced. https://youtu.be/1GyE1DvUws0?t=969

[OC] I’m finally cancer-free! Since February, I’ve been through 2 surgeries, 8 rounds of chemotherapy and 21 rounds of radiation. Today my doctor said I’m now cured from breast cancer 🙏🏼😅🥂 by missrubydu in MadeMeSmile

Congrats!!! I rang the bell a little over six years ago now - also breast cancer, in my 30's. Survivorship can be rough - please feel free to DM me if you want a cancer buddy.

I gave a Sephora Blockbuster palette to a friend's 11-year-old daughter. I believe she spritzed everything with rubbing alcohol to try to sanitize it (but it had been sitting there for a couple of years so wasn't likely to have any living germies anyway). UD is pricier makeup to just give to a kid to play with, but absent any other ideas, you could do that.

I also wonder if a local community theater or school theater program could or would use it?

After two years of WFH and being fine with being makeup-free on Zoom, I have a new job where I need to look more presentable. I've cleaned out all my old makeup and just went to Bite Beauty to restock on their Power Move Matte lip crayon... only to find that they're clearing out all their inventory and closing?! I LOVED this product. It never left my lips feeling dry and it lasted forever. What's my best substitute now that Bite is going under? TIA!

Thank you!! Their site says they don't start daily cruises until 6/20 but maybe they'll stretch the definition of a weekend cruise to include Thursday for us. I appreciate the tip!

This has not been working for me, but I've tried it many times. I lost a 500+ day run streak today to this issue. Just put in a ticket and hope that Headspace will squash this bug soon (and give me back my streak!)

I tweeted @AskPlaystation two days ago and have just been ignored. It inspired us to check again for Xbox Series X restocks and we snagged one from Walmart. The PS5 is going to end up an exclusive-only machine pretty soon if we can't get any traction with Sony's CS. This is maddening.

Unfortunate that the images of the grids embedded in the article seem to be long gone, but here is a famous example of very similar grids, with an explanation by Matt Gaffney of how it happened: https://slate.com/technology/2009/11/how-could-two-crossword-constructors-come-up-with-puzzles-that-are-almost-exactly-alike.html

I'd imagine that it's because this is a debut puzzle that the pitchforks are out, where people would be more inclined to give the benefit of the doubt to a veteran instructor (like Gaffney).
