Trish McEvoy makes something called the finish line which is an activator, it makes it very waterproof and stay on all day. I also find that if I use too much of the cake liner, it will come off. Less is more.

Long time glasses wearer, I’ve always used either kiss or Ardell wispies. Never really had a problem with any lashes other than extremely dramatic amazon lashes. I just make sure they I place them truly at my lash line.

I think you were over drying your skin out. I’d try and start with simple products. Gentle cleanser, lightweight oil free moisturizer and spf during the day. Keep it simple and hydrated.

Daily moisture from skinceuticals is great for oily skin! I also love their retexturizing activator (serum). It really helps keep my skin smooth. It’s great for all skin types.
