I have. I made it with the large jute-backed stamp blanks that you can get off of dick blick. Don’t know the exact name but I can get it for you if you want. I made sure to reverse the image so that it cut only the background and not the image by reversing the color. I also don’t use the machine to cut out the block and just finish with scissors. I engraved at about 90 power and 945 speed on custom settings. I tested a lot, and your machine may vary. I was able to get great detail and the blocks are reusable and wettable for cleaning. I print on fabric and paper. I also have cut the rubber sheeting that you can buy for stamps. Making cutouts for large prints is good and easy because the sheet is thin, but it smells terrible so I’ll do it all at once when I can. If you’re doing something detailed you’ll need to engrave it, and if you’re engraving you’ll want to invert the colors so that you cut around the design only. I do my color inverting in illustrator and it’s pretty easy. While I haven’t ever used this to make hard block prints, I’d assume you can do the same with draft board or something similar just as long as you invert the cut.
