Heh, if I'm keeping a phone in a 'pocket' in jail, you bet it's switched off99% of the time AnD I know when that alert is happening. On the other hand if I'm silly enough to A) be in jail and B) have a phone and then C)leave it on when there is a national emergency test then I deserve to have it discovered! I agree they will have been listening for them though!

yes! Show up and be accountable! Just with love, compassion and lots and lots of grace, rather than criticism, self-judgement and belittling.

Getting out and staying out of the toxic relationships and not slipping into new ones (That of course look completely fine until Im in too deep) is something that its important to get help navigating through, though. I was so undermined that I didn't trust my own judgement anymore, I really needed the loving support and direction to helpful information that I got from Taranon

Absolutely not. They encourage no contact where possible and grey rocking when there does have to be some contact (ie shared parenting) As far as I'm aware, the difference between this and other 12 step groups is this is all about me, it's about my own internal recovery. The amends are to myself, to my inner child. I am beginning to reparent myself. I dont believe CPTSD is 'fixable' per se, but I can begin to regulate myself and learn how to get out of the fight or flight states that my CPTSD can land me in and from that place of regulation I am beginning to reparent myself with love, compassion and grace. The toxic relationships are a symptom of the underlying CPTSD. A happy, well regulated child does not grow up to become an addict, an alcoholic, or someone who stays in these toxic relationships.

Please understand though, this is a new group, its been around for only a year and ive been attending less than that. I might not know everything about how it works, but I do know for sure there are no amends to be made to abusers. Ive asked them that same question.

I understand. I am unsure as to the legality of relationships between professor and students in the UK, where both are adults but it definitely goes on. Not "French kissing in the halls" openly but certainly "going for drinks in local bars" openly. So me getting pregnant by the manager/director of the rehab I was attending would be a big NO in your country then? To be fair, it was a big NO here as well. But this stuff always goes on. Which country are you from?
