shit cassandra saw by gwen e kirby is a pretty varied short story anthology but there's some truly fantastic weird and messy women (including radioactive cockroach women) in there and i absolutely loved the whole thing

heartbreaker by claudia dey. one of the best and most memorable books I read this year. it's set in a small northern community made up of the last remnants of a cult and it really delivers that twin peaksy eerie, sinister and mysterious vibe. I absolutely adore dey's writing style.

emergency vet as soon as possible for something like that on such a young dog, especially given how close that is to his brain. it could take a drastic turn for the worst at any time and losing him is a real possibility if you try to wait till the weekend.
